First ever Spinner Shark in Hawaii?! | Kayak Livebait Fishing

Is it a Spinner Shark or another shark species? What do you think?

This was the nicest day of the week to go fishing and we had a late start. Having a few hours of low wind conditions we made this best of the situations by catching some live Opelu right at lunch time and hooking onto some fish for tonights dinner. On the way in, I hooked onto what looks like a Spinner Shark but I have never heard of them being in Hawaii before.

Eh cuz, about 10-12 years was boogie boarding at Sherwoods at around 5:30 pm and as I was getting out of the water, I turned back to look at the ocean, at about 30 ft. from shore I see this spinning 3 ft. shark breaking the surface and getting air - unreal. I've been convinced Spinners are in Hawaii and you just might be the first to document them, congrats brah!
