The headlights are just the chef kiss. They are not so fancy they out do the car. Morimoto def nailed the light color for them.

I was blessed to learn that working with showcars and not by buying a perfect car. 10 footers are a flex enough if you really drive them hard. Best car Ive ever owned is a 20 footer, people still gawk at it when I drive it but only half because of how it looks, half is because of how I drive it 😅

So I have an 88 E30. I retro fited some LEDs into the euro smileys. The look is great, but the lighting is very subpar. Ive decided to use 5.75 motorcycle headlight/housing. Now this will look, obviously, more modern on an old bmw. But I would rather be able to see at night. So Jimmy, if this allows you to enjoy the car more and be safe......do it.

Love the headlights! A lot of people don't, but to me they remind me of something the shutoko racers in Japan would have done, and also of singer and gunther works. Make the car look a lot more refined while still being classy.

Keep it oem!!! Polish the old ones, or find some from a newer facelifted or something. Please keep it oem with the Porsche, it’s an absolutely stunner of a car. Best car in your garage imo I’m doing the same with my 99 Z3 coupe. Oem plus playa

I think trim black would better then gloss. Also, I would highly recommend adding relays (providing power to your projector headlights). Your OEM light switch will also appreciate not having all that current running though it 😜 Love the Content 😎

You should cover one of the headlight beauty rings in tape and spray it with the trim Black to see how thar looks and if you don't like it peel the painted tape off

Headlights aren’t as bad as I thought either. Has a Singer vibe. Also about the video quality only complaint is the lens slapping when hitting max zoom in and out. Maybe a ring of soft foam in between the lip on the end of the lens to reduce the noise

These lights look great. It goes well with the fact that the car is wide bodies.. If it was stock body it would look a little out of place having a more modern look, but its a nice touch on a car thats already heavily modified.

The bimmer handles are sick, the stock ones are notorious for damn near melting off, they used a really soft plastic/rubber material that doesn’t last in the heat. You end up with black sticky rubber on your hands every time u get out

Spoon used to drag race of course he had the big tach with shift light. We had one(for the light) in our e36 we drag raced in the early-mid 00s. The funny thing is my pops still didn't pay attention to the light so we wired up a car horn to the light that went off in unison with the light.😂😂

I don’t know about Europe but in the UK, we call that small bulb a side light, I think in the US you have Amber side lights, our side lights are the first click of the main headlight switch. More modern vehicles have DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) but they still have to have side lights, when the side lights are on, we get the two small 5 watt bulbs inside the headlights or equivalent led, tail lights & number plate lights showing on the exterior & all the usual lights inside, dash illumination, switch illuminations etc. Also, our rear fog lights will switch on when the side lights are on, & if the front fogs are on, the rear fogs will then work with the fronts, when our headlights are on, the rear fogs will work independently from the fronts.

I dunno man, the lights look cool but I think Dustin Williams had the right idea with the Renline kit that looks pretty true to old school form. Still, when Morimoto sends you some units for free you use em. I got a couple die casts like that S15 from that era. The early 2000s were definitely built different. I think the original F&F came out when I was a senior in high school. I'm having a brain fart on what those steering wheel lock things are called, but my brother's got one in his 89 Accord coupe. He doesn't actually use it, but it's so true what was said about old Hondas. He won't drive that thing in Waterbury, that's for sure.

Headlights look good! I think the the rings are a bit much on that body but an improvement nonetheless.
