Your set looks so good!! I agree with being satisfied how market went. Not only did it give you set up practice, but a sense if what people are looking at or for. I had to giggle when you showed picture of skirt, really not funny, but isn't that the way things work sometimes. All your plushies lioked so good, your dolls looked soo nice!! Your booth looked nice! Years ago we used to sell lemonade shake-ups and cinnamon roasted nuts at these events. Back then we had to pay $350 and up for 2 days and the craft spaces were going for $15-$25 for the 2 days. They charged a lot more for food vendors. We also had to pay for health license and all the supplies which were not cheap so we only went to the events that had a lot of people that came thru otherwise we wouldn't make anything. People don't realize the time and money spent to set up at these things and why our prices are what they are. I love all of your makes btw. Have a good one. 🙂🥰😘❤

This was the first time I took the coasters and considering how slow it was to sell one I think was fantastic. Holiday items I don't go crazy with just a few is good for me. The selling time is too short.

I too had a market this weekend and it was very good. I left with 5 bags, like those that you purchased and I came home with about 1 1/2. I sold my Dragon that I pattern tested for you😢. I was so sad to see it go. I completely sold out of pickles, chickens, cows, ducks w/frog hat, hot dogs, corn on the cob, bananas and frogs. So as usual the things I thought would sell out did not. I have been doing this for so long that I have 4 markets I do per year and they keep me very busy. I had my fair share of market flops before I found the 4 for me. But, like you said, those low sale markets give you so much experience. By the way, I have the same racks you have. The white wire with the baskets. I purchased foam board and zip tied it to the back of my racks. It’s cheap and it keeps my plushies from falling off the back. Hubby is “suppose” to be building me custom shelves, but I’m not holding my breath…lol😅

I live in Alice Texas, which is south Central Texas. I had to stop doing markets in the summertime because there’s only outdoor markets nearby and the heat has been unbearable at over 100°. I hope in October that the temperature will come down so I can do some more markets, but it is still hitting up to 100°.

Love your stuffies! I have completed the head of my first stuffy, the dauschound. It's made with a #2 cotton and a 2mm hook. I'm not sure if I'll be making a lot of these with such small yarns and hooks. Good luck with your markets!

OMG! My husband ordered bike parts for me and a box showed up. He didn't open it ... just handed it to me and said " Here, this is yours." Girl, it was body lube with a picture on the label. How did you find the interaction on your stall? to me it looked noisy, is it worth having bigger signs for areas? could you bring extra stock but keep it in the car to replenish? could you refine your zones a little more? (keep cats together, or have $8 section? ) just ideas. :D I love hearing about your markets. I'm in the UK and it's been a struggle, but more from the footfall side.
