I did B&R level 1 with my son a few years ago and we loved it! I believe Blossom and Root recommends the use of Logic of English for explicit reading instruction.

Love the long form!! Glad I’m not the only one that just can’t get on with B&R science for this age 😭 we are doing bits of Treehouse Schoolhouse Nature Study for our science for now and loving what we’ve covered so far!
