I love grocery shopping. I'm a grandma now and I love taking the grandkids even. We make a list before going. I call out items and the oldest who is 8 writes down the items. He also pushes the cart. The two younger boys help us find what we need. It's such a great learning time. The key is that your children and my grandsons are well behaved and helpful. We take our time and talk about everything. The kids stay right with me. It's just not an issue. That's one of their favorite things to do when they are visiting me. It's so nice to get out as well.

I love to hear this, thank you for sharing! Yes my children love going to the store with me and getting to be helpful by pushing the cart and grabbing items! My 7 year old will often make a list before we go and help mark things off. It sounds like you’re doing a beautiful job as a grandma, I hope when I’m in your spot I have grandkids who want to go to the store with me too!!

Haha thank you! I think it’s because they get so much practice being in public (going into the grocery store etc.) so it helps them know how to act their best most the times. Of course we have hard days 🙈

So I would keep premeasured dry formula in a bottle then just add water when it was time to feed the baby. But I've never had twins so that makes it different lol. I love that you were able to get out and go to the grocery store. I don't blame you for missing it. I enjoy grocery shopping inside the store for my family.

It’s so nice to hear someone else enjoys shopping inside with their family! Most my mom friends are crazy about grocery pick up, but inside shopping is the best to me! Ohhh formula ready to go in the bottle without the water, that is a great idea, I will definitely do that!

@texasfamilylife8397 yes I know. I hear of so many moms who love grocery pickup too! I get that it's easier with lots of little kids but I'm not a fan unless happen to be sick then it's great! But I love in person shopping.

My children didn't misbehave in town, in church or when I took them to someone's house. If they never go, they will not know how to act. God bless you for doing what is right for you.

You did really well with all the kids and 2 babies it will get easier as time goes on my kids were 3 under 3 and people thought I was crazy grocery shopping by myself but I would get the cart with the car on the front and the 15 month old and almost 3 year old sat there buckled in and the baby was either in a carrier or worn on a front carrier and that opened up the cart. I saw someone had a twin front carrier and thought of you. Glad you got out for a bit as a family take care and stay safe.
