As I recall, after a while, every Gungeon run eventually became "beat rat, get cheese", which made a lot of runs become too similar and uninteresting.

@@shadowdahuman two years later checking in lol as it happens, even though Finished Gun is an S Tier item, it actually replaces Unfinished Gun in loot pools except for some very specific circumstances. i.e. you open a random brown chest or visit a random shop counter and hey presto there it is when it's finished. you can still find Unfinished as a reward from the king/manservantes or in some other non-chest/shop sources.
