Hi H S H, those Peas look good! You can also eat the dry ones too if you have extra, cook em the same way, taste just as good 👍🏽😊

That's exactly what we do! Storing them dry helps to cut back on freezer space since they are able to be stored on the shelf once they are dry. Sometimes we dont even take them out of the shell until we are ready to cook them. Just store them right in the hull.

These purp5jull peas love hot weather so as long as you have a few more monteh5of warm/hot weather you will be able to grow them just fine.

After harvesting mine a few times I cut mine almost to the ground and a few days later they are growing leaves again. It's September, will they actually produce peas again?

I love shelling peas! It's so therapeutic to me. But then again I also love to remove elderberries from their clusters by hand as well which others find to be tedious😅

Where can you buy purple hull peas

Try a local farmer selling vegetables. If it is early enough in the season, you can shell the peas, replant and get your own harvest. If it is too late in the season, let the peas dry and save for next year.
