FHB technical recruiter Kathy Oyadomari contacted Scott July 2021 notifying him that he qualified for the open position. Scott disclosed to Kathy a disability and requirement of pain medication. Scott asked simply for FHB's substance use policy -- in advance -- as changing Medical Cannabis takes at least 30 days. Some employers allow; some don't. Scott is a non-safety-sensitive professional employee.
