I needed to beat the Irish Winter Blues so I headed off to Tenerife for a week! I checked in to the Tigotan Lovers and Friends Hotel in Plays de Las Americas and this was my experience!
Cost: We stayed on an "Exclusive Half-Board Rate" for 7 nights and paid €1300 for two people sharing.

Absolutely love the tigotan 😁 I've stayed 3 times now. I once got a room with same same view 😞 I complained and was moved immediately. I love the bali beds for having a comfy sleep in the sunshine 😴

we stayed here in November 2022, we had the smart room No 512 was with pool view. Room was very clean only bathroom we found outdated. Food was lots of variety only always cold, we found this very unfortunate. we had exclusive service but that was not really a plus now. In March 2023 we will return to Playa las Americas but have now booked something else. "Los cardones boutique village

Use to stay here when it was the Hotel Dream Palace Noela Sur then it got taken over

I think it's run by the same people but just changed the name? I stayed there too in Feb 2012 and the place looks a LOT better now than it did then!

We stay at H10 Hotels. They are great, food , cleanliness, staff so friendly can't fault H10 Hotels,

Unfortunately these are the cheapest rooms in the hotel. They put guests in them as a last resort as they always complain. Only used when the hotel is completely full. Should have asked to move for small charge. Great video 😊

If you are in the exlusive lounge and take some drinks, do you know if you can take your drinks to other area's? Like to the swimming pool or to your room for example

no.. it clearly says that you can't remove items from this room... This room works out really expensive.. like an extra $40 or more per night.. how often are you really going to use it?

True, we did get crisps but we also had access to the lounge which was loaded with free drink, a night at the a la carte restaurant, reserved sun loungers and discounts in the spa.

Stayed here last November, it was ok but have stayed at better hotels for a lot less money. Food was okay, drinks were too expensive. No kettle in the room and they wanted €15 to hire one for the week!!! We won't go back.

€15 is pretty steep for a kettle! Our room rate included all that craic so we didn't have to worry about the overages but agree that's nuts! Where else have you stayed in Ten that you thought was good! Always open to new hotel suggestions! Thanks for watching!

@@Seat5K It was my first visit to Tenerife, I did enjoy it but I always like to visit different places. Luna sol aqua in Albufeira was a nice hotel and also the yannis hotel in ipsos, Corfu. Probably no overseas holidays for us now until 2022? Thanks for replying, stay safe!

"Only very select people get access"... hmmm anyone who pays for it! "Great selection of food".. it's basically some bread rolls and bread... this exclusive package costs quite a bit more and your only allowed to eat/drink stuff in that area... on a week long stay it can add as much as 50% to the cost of your booking... just cheap marketing tool to make more money.
