I just found something big: the 308 has more penetration than the 7mm, meaning for animals class 4-8 the 308 will be the king.

yea its literally unrealistic, the 308 shouldn’t even have more penetration than the 30-06 but i guess they just wanted to make up some stuff to dethrone the M1 🤷‍♂️

I feel like a break action in-line muzzleloader would be a great addition. They could have a lot of different projectiles and powder charges to adapt to different animals and ranges

.308 is still the only weapon worth it in this pack, the .223 was a mistake I don't know why they label it a class 2-4 when just like it's bolt action counterpart it's only good for class 2 and Roe deer, and even then the .243 will at least be able double lung/heart shot. The .22 was really a waste of a rifle we already have 3 10 round magazine .22 in game and now we have a useless 5 round version. I'll stick with the weapons already in game maybe they'll add another modern rifle pack with real calibers and not just reskin guns we already have, that being said EW had a poll on their YT channel about another reserve and west Africa is leading so we might get a cool map in the future.

Since .308 has been introduced in the game and these AR's have finally been introduced, I hope they can do a weapon pack oriented around some Eastern European hunting rifles like the VEPR Pioneer or various Saiga and VPO rifles from Tula Arms. Hell an OKP SKS would be all I'd ask for

Anyone else experiencing or heard of meshing problems on current patch? Last night on Layton I shot a piebald elk, but it’s body seemingly meshed about a foot underground. I found it by luck when the confirm trophy prompt came up. When I clicked it, the game made me instantly harvest it without me being able to look at the harvest screen at all which prevented me from saving it to my lodge :(. Also a potential diamond moose I saw and tracked seemingly vanished on the side of a mountain. It’s tracks just stopped out of nowhere, and I couldn’t find anymore. So I assume it meshed or glitched somehow too.

Also the blood trails for the elk remained after I harvested it. My bloodhound didn’t like that very much lol. She tried infinitely searching for the harvest that was already gone. Just ran in a single direction for about 500 meters before I made her stop.

@@drbuttfungus3477 back in the day Remington made a pump action rifle with a clip feed magazine and an enclosed hammer like a shotgun my dad had one in 30 06 but it was available in 270 and 308 as well ... I would like to see one such in game

ARs are not assault rifles it stands for ArmaLite a manufacturer of those guns and the only military weapons are the sohlkin 7.62, .303, M1 and the good ol civil war weapon .50 cal muzzleloader. With how some people play this game more semi auto weapons are necessary for that grind it's a game not real life and unfortunately it's not like the Hunter Classic where everytime you spawn in the animals change. You have to grind your tail end off to even get diamonds ARs were a desperate need for this game at least until they change how animals work in this game

The 308 is for class 4-8. The 300 is 7-9 so it will not replace it.

You have to buy one of the trophy lodge dlcs first. There’s also a trophy lodge you unlock by completing all missions on Cuatro, but that takes a very long time. I think that lodge also doesn’t function the same as the dlc ones, but I could be wrong

For quick Hipshots any gun with a high hipshot rating will most likely go exactly where that reticle is

I don’t think the animals are resetting. Scarecrow killed a great one today on his map. I think they’re just gonna get reshuffled

All 4 maps are getting a pop reset. All animals are being spread out more so definitely not being reshuffled. Regarding Scarecrows GO it was at a lake where white tail have never ever been so unlikely. There have been some people with these updates and pop resets they have gotten Go without even grinding for them. KC with his red deer is another good example his was an initial spawn.

Guess they need to find Hunters and people who know what these calibers can do I've had multiple pass throughs with .223 seen whitetails killed with 22h and only run maybe 30 yards with a vital shot, most of these animals shouldn't run as far and bleed so little like with the 270 and the 6.5 waste of quality weapons and ammo
