I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s too out of shape to casually pull a fish house out into the ice. 😆

Thanks for the perspective at the end there TJ. I’ve been making some videos since April and it is so true how many times you just strike out and it doesn’t come together but I’m really enjoying the process. Learning a ton along the way and appreciate all the work you put in brother! Keep it up and if you put the same energy into being a dad you do in fishing you’re gonna be an amazing dad my friend!

Great video, when the walleye was on you stuck most of the rod in the water, I assume that was to prevent the line from breaking. What lb line to you normally use?
@tjsguideservice2 күн бұрын
A lot of it was to prevent the line from getting caught on the ice. It can dig grooves into the side of the ice and get stuck and make it even more challenging to get in.

I am usually using 8-10lb braid

Does it have to be an aquaview to use with Garmin or could you use Marcum camera?
@tjsguideservice4 күн бұрын
I’m not aware of a marcum equivalent. Anything with hdmi capabilities will work, but they usually have a screen. This one is made specifically for this situation with mounts and everything

Hey Tj my question is what map app do you use. I haven’t heard you talk about it but I’m having trouble finding an accurate map for finding structure weed edges or whatever I’m looking for that day. Any tips appreciated
@tjsguideservice14 сағат бұрын
Depends on the location, but I find my Humminbird maps in my lakemaster chip are the best for my area. The one boat network app has the same Humminbird mapping

If you use an Okuma Baitfeeder with the Finnicky Fooler it’ll pail out line without the risk of you losing your rod and reel.
@tjsguideserviceКүн бұрын
I tried that for a while, but even on their lightest setting I felt like fish were feeling them and spitting the bait. I prefer to have an open bail. Still no risk of losing your rod and reel and can freely spool line!
@usmarine0352Күн бұрын
@@tjsguideservice Interesting, I believe you can adjust the tension on them. I've never felt I lost a fish too it.

Hey TJ, how do you get that color on the Livescope?
@tjsguideservice2 күн бұрын
It’s actually the blue color palette and I edit it out after
@tml4life1002 күн бұрын
I'm confused. What unit are you using you can hook up your aquaview to it as well as your live scope at the same time? Is that one of the gpsmap models? I've just got an echomap so this is new to me
@tjsguideservice2 күн бұрын
It is a gpsmap model. Has to be an hdmi compatible unit
@fishingonthe_lo3 күн бұрын
So do you need a 8610 for aqua view to connect ?
@tjsguideservice3 күн бұрын
Not necessarily! Any hdmi compatible unit will work!
