Total population of Islamabad is 10 lac so people here own their own cars so mostly as compare to other cities over here we have no trafic issues we criticize our government over metro bus in Islamabad cuz we don't need it here in Islamabad .

The metro bus has its own dedicated lanes so it is just as effective as a train. It's also cheaper so that's probably why they went with the bus.

And u will shock to know that isl mein metro ki zarorat hi nai because wahan koi aisa rehta hi nai isl afford karna only advocates higher govt employees ya civil services wale rehte hain they have their own luxury cars for traveling but it will be very useful for those who lives in Rawalpindi and their jobs r in isl ... Islamabad's Metro bus has its own track completely separated from normal traffic by fences. Thus traffic does not affect the metro bus.

Hi Mayank... Basically I have personally visited Islamabad many times and the reason that there's just a metro Bus system and Not Metro Train is becuz the city itself is small in terms of population and size.. A big highway known as Kashmir Highway goes thru the city which mainly holds all the traffic of this city. So for the time being there's no special need of a metro train. Yes a metro train is being constructed in Lhr..
