This actually does look pretty good man, being a tarkov addict I could see myself enjoying this, the environment looks great, seems very immersive, it seems kind of nuts having those types of guns its like early wipe tarkov lol.

Yeah I see a lot of potential coming from this game. It’s been out for only a few weeks in alpha and needs some tweaks but overall very promising steps forward. It’s the same team that released This Land Is My Land and they’re working their asses off to add content and listen to the community. A new video should be dropping in about 2.5 hours that’ll outline even more of the early game

am confused... thumbnail says its lootershooter... yet the gameplay doesn't look like destiny 2 or borderland series... it looks more like extraction shooter? "Looter shooter (also called loot shooter) is a subgenre of action role-playing games that incorporates shooter gameplay and procedurally generated weapons". Are the damage stats randomized with various tiers? Also i think looter shooters often don't make you lose gear you had on (especially single player ones) while most extraction shooters make you lose all/most of your gear if you die. So which is this?

It’s a living server so can join at any instance with people already in there, and leave within the survival timeframe, which would be before you starve or die of thirst. You can extend your raid by eating and drinking*

Why would anyone play this when Hunt: Showdown exists?... This is very clearly a rip-off. It's not badly made or anything - it actually looks fairly decent but it still seems a lot worse than Hunt simply because Hunt is just such a great game (and getting better all the time).

Interesting take! This is a bit more like tarkov with the setting of hunt. Also it’s without the stylistic horror AI, and ALOT of crafting and questing that departs from hunt. More videos will come out that will outline those departures soon :)

Because it's different in key aspects that matter to people. For me the main 3 things: - looting and progression - human AI Instead of monster AI (i hate the AI in Hunt) - Persistent raids like the Cycle
