Great video! I really like how they include English text on everything. In a few months, I plan on visiting for the first time. Safe travels.

the food court on bottom floor is really a hidden gem in Suvarnabhumi Airport . i always eat there when i leave bkk and before i go in to the city just to wind down from the travel

It really is! So affordable and actually good food. Way better than the typical airport options haha

Nice to see this video Nick. Earlier today I watched a video of Low Cost of Living places and they said Chiang Mai, Thailand and another place is Udon which is less touristy than Bangkok. But I get why digital nomads would prefer Bangkok - for community and more opportunity for variety.
@wayfarernick11 ай бұрын
Thank you! I think Chiang Mai also has its fair share of digital nomads but yes Bangkok is huge and has everything so it's also a solid choice. I would like to check out Chiang Mai though
It's after a long time I saw ur video ...enjoyed each part of it 👍❤

Remember that song “One Night in Bangkok”? I think it was by Murray Head. It’s so quirky, but definitely memorable, lol.

Hahaha I had forgotten about it until you just reminded me 😂 a classic though

Why are westerners always recommending the old Lumpini Park when Bangkok has a way newer, bigger Benjakitti Forest Park. Its just a short walk from ASOK BTS Station.
@wayfarernick10 ай бұрын
Well Lumphini is nice! But I haven't been to the other one but based of the comments I need to go! Haha

New Subscriber here. I would like to know in your experience what percentage of people in Bangkok and Thailand were able to understand English. Also are all the signs only written in Thai or are there english translations as well?
@wayfarernick10 ай бұрын
Hello! You're mose welcome! In general I'd say Thais speak English pretty well. Enough to to do business anyway. As far as signs, official ones almost always have English on them too. Some businesses don't though haha
