Haha loved the video! You guys are so cute! And unfortunately, there are so many stray animals in Serbia. 😔 But, luckily there are always people who tend to share their food. 💛

I'be Been to Serbia three to four times. People are nice and friendly. A lot of people smoke in Serbia. The girls are nice and beautiful. A lot of people speak English in there.

Everyone spoke English very well. I wish we could speak more Serbian words. Next time we hope to learn some more 😊

i guess that Beograd (/Belgrade), and Srbija (/Serbia), must somehow just have seemed a bit more "exotic", and "esoteric", than the other possible destination choices...?!! So far, *def* does seem like a good - and, really l-o-v-e-l-y - choice, indeed; do, just, mind the/watch out for, 'pickpockets'...who *are,* of course, to be found in virtually ANY 'World City', needless to say!

As an Australian with Serbian/Bosnian heritage, I found seeing all the stray dogs confronting. That's just something we don't have here, but it was quite common to see dogs walking on their own. I wasn't sure if they'd be safe to approach or not.

Yeah as a fellow aussie, it was a bit strange to see them too at first but then we found them so cute and they were friendly.

Loving following along with your adventures! We are going to Budapest next so I've been watching all of those :) We went to Belgrade last year and stayed on a houseboat on the river - highly recommend! It was called Boatel Charlie if you want to look on Booking.com. We also of course went to the castle and the big famous church, and some fab restaurants. I did a couple of vlogs from there if you're interested - but it was the summer so lots of things might be closed now! Anyway, keep up the great work. Love from the Bear Squad

"Why do you guys travel in winter?" Although I enjoy traveling anytime of the year, winter is nice for several reasons. A) It's usually off-season, so the crowds tend to be lower as well as the prices, and B) the sights can be every bit as spectacular as any other time of the year. And as Nick mentioned, the Christmas decorations and mulled wine sure makes it easier to take. I'll be heading to the Balkans (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Bulgaria) on Monday, so I really appreciate your timely video!!!

Spot on!! Exactly! We sort of became Winter travellers but we don't complain it at all haha. That sounds so awesome! Have a great trip. 😄

A true main ally, specially when it was part of habsburg monarchy, which Hitler served in ww1, and which fell motivated him to make 3rd reich. A true allies those austro-hungarians.
