@@keke_oh Kara and Nate! They've almost made it to 100 countries. They have 4 years worth of travel videos. They don't "rough it" as much as Christiane because they have a bajillion travel hacks, but the quality of their footage is pretty great. I also follow some van life travelers. Trent and Allie are driving through South America right now and Eamon and Bec are traveling Europe. IndigoTraveller is from New Zealand/Hungary and is probably one of the more fearless travelers I've followed. He's been to Iran, Somalia, Venezuela, and right now Afghanistan in the last year. I also watched his Chernobyl and North Korea series. LexieLimitless is a new channel I just started and she is a 21-year-old who has been to every country in the world.

I'm spending 4 days in Bogotá, 6 days in Medellín, and 6 days in Cartagena. I'm half Colombian too so I feel like I'm going back to the homeland even though I've never been there before lol.

So cool! I'm in Bogota right now staying in an Airbnb, usually I stay at hostels but I found such a good deal, only $215 for the whole month! I'm definitely going to change to a hostel so I can meet more people and go on those cool tours. So far I've been to the Gold museum and Monsserate, those were pretty cool!

I missed how much the hostel was and only heard the price of the taxi and the coffee (I'm at work and half listening/watching.). Can you fill me in? It's also important to do your research. There are probably other nice hostels that are cheaper and private rooms aren't mandatory. I've personally never done a private room. The least I've had in my room is 3 other people and the most was 15. I honestly didn't mind either.

This is actually so helpful because I want to do a quick dip into Peru and Bolivia during my spring break (while you’re in South America I’d really highly recommend you see Salar de Uyuni during the rainy season in Bolivia!!) and Selina offers tours. did backpacking in bogota as well. airport observation: security looks sooo serious, a bit intimidating and heavily armed 😮 just took the bus from the airport to la candeleria. very fast, efficient and cheap! find it a bit intimidating to withdraw money in the area. make sure to find a secure/safe atm. most banks/atm machine are heavily secured as well. people are cool and chill. love the coffee.

Great vid! I’m going to Colombia in a few weeks and I’m excited that it’s so cheap! Costa Rica is absolutely the opposite. That can ride for example (from airport to San Jose) cost me 30,000 Colones which is $60 USD!

Acá en Bogotá ya estamos Acostumbrados a qué el resto de colombianos menosprecien la ciudad por todo, como si vivieran en Europa, jaja. Menos mal los que traen plata para invertir en la ciudad son los turistas extranjeros, no los locales que solo traen problemas.

I was there for 1.5 years. Got mugged 3 times at knifepoint in daytime. I have a dark complexion and blend in so it's not like I was an ostentatious tourist. Such a stressful place to live. Beautiful countryside tho.
