First Impressions of Duhok in Kurdistan | Iraq Travel Vlog

After exploring Erbil and Akre in Kurdistan in Iraq, I started exploring other parts of Kurdistan. In this video, I travel to Duhok in northern Iraq. Duhok is famous for its beautiful landscapes. I also visit one of the most famous teahouses in Kurdistan, which has been decorated with photos as well as the uniforms and weapons of Peshmerga martyrs.

Duhok is the safest city i have ever seen till the date. i was there 2013 -2016. locals are good people. I never heard and seen anythings theft in footpath shops which only cover with bed sheets whole nights. one of my friend lost his purse in CK market. next day a boy (who sells cigarettes in footpath) bring that purse to him in his company. He able to recognize my friend’s workplace because of the Akama (ID) in purse. at that time that lake was full with water. now that water level is very low . we used to swim there. I just want to visit Duhok once again in life. A lot of beautiful moments are left there. ❤️ Very beautiful locals and their behaviors ❤️

came here because I was talking with someone on FB playing Farkle and he told me he lived here I told him I would look it up. so I did. VERY nice reminds me of a place close to where I live, AND the place the girl visited with all the fallen military guys was sad. to see them holding their babies and stuff and to know they lost their lifes sad. I am glad I was able to visit from the USA even if it was only from youtube. Thank you for making this video :)

Duhok i’m in it right now and I think it’s a where crimes don’t even exist like you can keep your key out in front of five people and no one will think to even grab it thanks for taking time out of your day going to my city ❤
