We love parking at the north lot at the new RC terminal. Before parking we drive up to the terminal and drop off our luggage with the caribbean shirt luggage guys and then park and walk up to the terminal. It’s been flawless every time…found this out by other KZbinrs.

Yes! Just like the old terminal, that’s definitely an option. We like no waking to/from car, and front door drop off, I guess. 😂 #lazycruisers

Your luggage has to fit through a normal airport style x-ray machine if you’re going to carry it on board. Otherwise, you have to stand in line and drop it off. There may be days the luggage porters are out at the curb too, so watch for that.

Thanks for the video, leaving Galveston on September 1. I think you should have mentioned that the wi-fi is an extra expense on Harmony of the Seas.

Oh yes. Wifi is extra on all cruise lines. Some folks buy a package that includes the price, but it’s never free. 👍🏼

The porters are union workers longshoremen here in Galveston. They make great money without tips.

Love Port Parking

We were on the Harmony the week after y'all. We love Port Parking. Did learn to call it Inside Parking when leaving. Not different the week after with no porters being a shuttle drop off. It was even crazier since there was a Coast Guard inspection. Able to get a porter to help getting our luggage to the shuttle when leaving. Tons of families and kids on our cruise. Think because this was Mother's Day when we boarded. We had My Time Dining with a nightly reservation and truly walked right in. Totally impressed by the food. So disappointed Royal has taken away Jazz on 4. Jazz Quartet was awesome, but Dazzles is not as conducive to jazz as Jazz on 4 used to be. Our cruise had to miss Costa Maya due to high winds. The staff has taken to calling Costa Maya, Costa Maybe 🤣 Royal did refund port fees. We did not get to see a full Aqua Show. They truly tried, but just too rough seas. We saw all the shows, and these were entertaining and enjoyable. Staff is phenomenal on the Harmony. Music around the ship at night is awesome. Had a great week as it sounds like y'all did as well.

Thanks so much for the additional review! Those venues on Level 4 are very odd, imo--turning Jazz On 4 into a non-smoking casino AND having the Diamond Lounge (DL) in a cave on that level. 😂 Still a great ship and staff!

I just heard the captain of the harmony died due to heart attack and was taken off the ship in Cozumel. Guessing it wasn't on your trip if you said the captain came on to make the announcement. Were you on the ship April 30th?

So sad! We were on May 5. We remember hearing before our cruise that he was taken off, but they didn’t announce his passing until after our cruise. We had met him on Liberty OTS. Very nice man!
