Started watching your earliest content following your first Pakistan tour. Was not ready for the bursts of mellow music! Was actually nice to see where it all started!

@Phil Bland We all have to start from somewhere. Uganda is somewhere I have zero knowledge of, so I'm expecting a solid Phil Bland Ugandan experience!!

@@zedzpan 😁 I think I was a little bit nervous making content by myself back then, felt like I needed someone to go around with me … now I’m fearless 😂

@Phil Bland You might have been nervous but you're certainly much braver than many to put yourself out there. Looking forward to the chaos.

How random was it to just choose Uganda? Did someone recommend this to you?

Good question - I spent some time in Tanzania and Kenya already but I’d never been to Uganda. I wanna go to see the gorillas at some point while I’m here.

The muddy conditions during rain is referred to as Katogo, same as the name of a local dish, meaning “mixed”. Nice you are giving to charity😂 You are right to take the shoes off whenever entering someone’s home in Uganda. Other notable manners is to never entering someone’s bedroom, and as a man never interfere in someone’s pots while they are cooking. Also you are not supposed to move in between a couple or group when walking towards them on the street, you pass on one side. Even though many in Kampala have forgotten their culture when it comes to this😝
