First Impressions Of Malaysia (our 46th country)

Welcome To Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
In our First Malaysia vlog we check out the Petronas towers and wonder around the city centre of Kuala Lumpur! After heading up the Petronas Towers and seeing the view of the city we headed 20 minutes north to Batu caves, a sacred temple inside 4 million year old caves.
We ended the day back where we started in KLCC park to watch the amazing fountain light show they put on daily!

Kuala Lumpur definitely shocked us! There was so much more to do in the city than we realised. It’s definitely somewhere we could spend a lot longer

In Ipoh, there are Chinese temples in lime stone caves too. U can go to Cameron highlands, cooler place there with tea plantations.

I went to Kuala Lumpar 45 years ago. It was very much a 3rd World place back then, with not a single skyscraper. Amazing how quickly a city can become fully developed.

I used to always visit KL and Selangor from 2000 to 2010, but got bored and returned to the east coast and Borneo, but I returned to KL after covid 2022, and there have been very big changes, Monorail/MRT/LRT transportation as good as Singapore, modern skyscrapers, and many new cities exist around KL and Selangor, and there are definitely more to explore. Now I'm starting to focus on KL again😊

You should get something soupy like noodle soup to ease the tummy. Avoid spicy food for a while.

There is a place that could beat 'that view' 😉 try get to the observation deck of Menara Kuala Lumpur (Menara = Tower) and you will get 'bird eye view' of seeing both the tallest twin towers in the world and the second tallest building on the world with 360° open view of the whole city with extended glass floor compartments.
