The fact that you call them Serbian Muslims instead of Bosniaks, by the name they call themselves, shows just how much you have no love for them! You love your twisted interpretation of who they are and that's disrespectful on so many levels. It's actually an insult to human intelligence!! Since you talk history... when Ottomans conquered that region, then it was part of Bosnian Kingdome. The founder of Novi Pazar is the same founder of Sarajevo. Basically since king Tvrtko added that territory to his kingdom in period of 1373-1377 until the Congress of Berlin in 1878, all that was Bosnia including Novi Pazar, for little over five centuries. Referring to those people as Serbs is just plain faul and ignorant as well!!

Those Muslims are descendants of famous medieval Serbian knights and warriors, just like Orthodox Serbs are. We have the same ancestors but religion is that little thing that separated us through centuries.

great job of touring the town, btw i wanna point out that its not a common thing to tip the workers in novi pazar because of the "pride" of making 100% legit money and that box in 16:25 is a donation box for the islamic kitchen organization that severs free for poor that is not going to the guy working at the shop

Why do you reduce Bosniak in Serbia to "Serbian Muslim" community or Novi Pazar as the "Muslim city"?! As much as I enjoyed this video, that is very disrespectful and ignorant of you guys!! Why am I saying disrespectful and ignorant... lack of accurate info gives the impression as if Muslims in Novi Pazar came and settled those parts with the Ottomans arrival which is not true. They've lived there even before Ottomans. Territory of today's Sandzak was part of Bosnia since 1373-1878 little over 500 years. The founder of Sarajevo is the same founder of Novi Pazar as well. Reducing Bosniak in Pazar to Muslims asides that being inaccurate, it's also disrespectful and ignorant (and I really really do realize it's not intentional, actually very innocent but diss&igno nonetheless guys). P.S. I really did enjoyed the video, one can notice that typical Canadian sincerity and kindness (I'm naturalized Canadian myself eh 😉)

Lies lies and more lies…were are the serbian mothers and witness of bosniak muslim killings? No where they are in massgraves…you as we see have alot of witnesses if it was genocide how come so manyyy are alive????? And there are documents from independent genocide experts that has confirmed that Srebrenica was not genocide and that muslims killed many serbs to….it was a warcrime, but msnifested ”genocide” from the Bill Clinton administration….everyone with some brain can find all this information from independent sources if you look even if US propaganda are trying to hide it

If the local 'Spinata' is done right it doesn't contain any Spinach at all - it's all made with 'Zelje', thus 'Zeljanica'. Burek is made with Zelje' as well, among others, like meat, cheese, or apples - no Spinach. 'Zelje' is a green mountainous plant similar to spinach but much tastier. The food is mostly 'homemade' or 'from scratch' and from superior ingredients. Serbian/Balkan soil is rich in key minerals that's giving food such superior flavor/taste.
