Great video! Thank you so much for the ship tour on a sea day - no one does that! It truly gives a much more realistic view of what the ship is like. It's exactly what I want to see since I'm hoping to book this ship for Spring of 2025. Nice job! You've got a new subscriber. I will say that it's a shame that the Cabana Deck has no shade. I love the exclusive privacy, but I don't want to be in the blazing sun.

We spent a week in California in May and tbh whatever this type of trip costs it must be a bargain, as the cost of eating out in the US nowadays is INSANE!!! We spent approx. $250 a day EXCLUDING drinks - and that was just regular type joints...

Thanks for the tour! Do you think the ship would be comfortable for a 15 day trans-atlantic voyage? 8 days at sea - with not a totally indoor pool feels like a cold plunge!

I think so, it is well set up for it, you can keep active in the gym. There is plenty of outdoor space! I would just use it as an opportunity to east your way through the restaurants and chill.

It was a gifted cruise, but I was under no obligation (or contract) to film anything, say anything or review anything. Onboard was my genuine experience and my honest opinion (as you will see in my next video).

Wonderful video. Really great. I will be sailing transatlantic in late September on the Sun Princess. Constructive criticism is to echo the other poster's comment about your camera panning speed. It is way too fast most of the time. I know that seasickness sometimes happen while aboard a ship, but I didn't expect to experience that while watching your video. Otherwise, this is a brilliant video!

Hi Joey! So glad you like the Sun! I was on the Feb 28th cruise, which turned out to be the inaugural, so some venues weren't open yet. Nice to see your videos of them and I'm SO GLAD to see so many of the crew again - particularly the crew at Good Spirits at Sea and Crooner's! I was in a Reserve mini-suite and I never noticed the mirror's being anti-fog in the middle! I wonder if that's just on the cabana class minis? I'll be on the Sun again on October 19th and looking forward to seeing the theater and finished dome in person!

I was lucky enough to go on the QE2 but wow, it's so small compared to the Sun Princess! It's huge!!!! We saw some of the cruise ships in Madeira and was gobsmacked at their size along with this ship you sailed on! Great video...watched it last night in bed and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Excellent video and review. We are doing our first Princess Cruise and it will be on the Sun Princess at the end of this month (July). I have been watching all of the KZbin videos of the Sun Cruise ship since the beginning of the year and I think your review is one of the best. Excellent video taping/ editing, views of the ship, food descriptions and experience, BRAVO! You will enjoy I am sure. We had our first cruise on sun princess and it was outstanding. Deck 19 wasn't open when we sailed in may. To be honest, I was looking forward to some of attractions there, but I don't really know how I would have made time for it The food was outstanding and the drink package was way too inviting (and I barely drink). So much fun.

Hello Joel, I generally like your video and you have an awesome speaking voice. One recommendation is when shooting the videos to slow you camera movements. Several times the camera view would swing around very quickly whereby I would start to feel motion sickness. So remember to slow you motions and think of yourself actually taking a ride inside your camera and looking out. I also enjoy that you shoot video on normal sea days so I can get a feel of the ship with people in activities.
