Those wooden sticks in the end of your video are called newspaper holders. Back in the day in pubs, clubs and restaurants newspapers and sometimes magazines were attached to those things by their back so that they would't crumple.

I suppose if you’d find them anywhere these days, a 14th century hotel would be the perfect spot. Nice that those older tools from the past still can be spotted around. Thanks for letting us know :)

Very cool hotel…. Made me a bit dizzy with all those long hallways. And the roasted almonds looked and sounded really yummy 😋.

On the same principle, there are racks in the wall so that you don't have to put clothes on the table or on the floor🤣
