I have a soft spot for the 16x as it was my first wheel.. and still love it to death. I think there's a huge subset of EUC riders that want see a 16x with suspension and higher top speed. Glad to hear you say that, looks most promising. Excellent video, thank you so much!! Subscribed 🙏

@@alexiszakariene Is the Patton faster at acceleration then the 16X, and if so, is it a big difference? I guess the standard tilt setting is not very good.
@alexiszakariene Жыл бұрын
The Patton and the ks16x felt very similar in accelaration. To be completely honest I would find quite difficult to exactly pin point which one is faster as the last time I have ridde the ks16x was 2 years ago, and I don't have one handy anymore. But I will never forget the immidiate and super torque take off on it for sure 😊 There are 3 side tilt angle options in the patton: 35, 40 and 70 degrees. All of them are useful for different purposes. For instance, if a beginner were to start learning to ride on the patton a 35 tilt angle would be more suitable as more frequent falls are to be expected. This would allow the wheel to switch off much sooner and protect the rider from getting injured from the powerful free spin upon landing close to it. The drawback is that certain type of riding require a higher side tilt angle to be performed. As long as there is a choice to change the side tilt angle according to each rider need, then it is all good for me 🙌

Really quality info! Do you think this would be a good first wheel? Im about 187cm and 110kg.
@alexiszakariene Жыл бұрын
Thank you 👍 Yes, I think it would be a very good starting wheel. The patton might not be as straightforward as learning from a ks16x or other lightweight non suspension wheels, since it is usually easier to learn with lower pedal height but with a bit of determination it can be definetly done. I would suggest going for the 66lbs set up to avoid bottoming out as much as possible. Overall, the patton is a great little all rounder, with a solid built, insane torque and speed, which will be a long time keeper.

your accent is insane 😎 ( I really enjoy it ) . What do you think about S22 Pro ? , trying to find good 1st Euc and s22Pro looks sweet 🤔
@alexiszakariene Жыл бұрын
Thank you 😊😅 I think the s22 pro would be a really good first wheel, especially if you are inclined towards offroading. For jumps and drops the s22 pro should be the best currently out there due to the high suspension travel of 130mm. It is also fairly lightweight at 35kg in comparison with the alternatives. I was about to buy one myself but then the extreme has been announced with a similar suspension travel so I am curious to see how they compare, especially on the jumping capabilities as that's a skill that I haven't acquired yet and would love to learn. Just be aware that the s22 pro might need a few mods to make it more durable long term. I have only try it for few minutes so I cannot give you a proper opinion but if I was to buy it for myself I would: - change the pedals with erides ones as they are cnc, angle adjustable and extremely grippy albeit heavy. - Buy a grizzla fairing kit for better protection and comfort - buy new linkage bolts as they can snap in addition to bearing mod (not sure how to make it happen though) to avoid friction and metal to metal grinding - a more progressive fox or cane creek shock as quality makes a difference in riding feel, which I have experienced on the master - "waterproof" motor and change bearings with higher quality rubber sealed sfk - better quality sliders Keep in mind that each use case is different and as a first euc is actually plenty fast and comfortable already out of the box. I would suggest to put plenty foam around the wheel when you learn so that if it drops it won't get scratched 😉 Hope it helps and happy riding once you get your wheel yayyy 🙌

@@alexiszakariene I can tell U do what U love to do 🚀Thanks for sharing the knowledge, so I will buy s22 pro, lets see ;) . I am designers so maybe I will do couple extra things and from my experience the wheels which use simple fork system are not the best from engineering point ov view ( Angel should be at least 50 degree , not 0 or even negative when U move forward on EUC ) , so I guess " Horst Link " like in S22 is overally better design in this case ;)

In light of the Extreme cutouts reported over the last couple of days, do you still consider getting it?
@alexiszakariene Жыл бұрын
No, I had cancelled my preorder about a month ago in light of the fact that the 40t version was not available to purchase yet via aliexpress. I have asked directly to begode but they said they would sell the 40t to me only in exchange for advertisement. I didn't like that, so refused. Relatively to those cut outs, I had experienced already significant voltage sag from my master 50e, which I wasn't feeling safe riding fast once below the 50% mark. Note that master has a C38 motor not even C40 which is more power thirsty. In addition, a smaller inch diameter and the fact that the firmware is still not configured properly, makes the first batch of Extreme looks not up to the high standards that it was promoted with (dethroning the s22 on jumps as an example). I am curious to see what the v14 is all about although I am skeptical as they followed begode on high voltage, high torque and high capacity cell configuration instead of thinking about the practical consequences of having all that in a 16inch wheel. I am sincerely more hyped about the high voltage sherman S coming December 2023 above all other wheels at the moment 😁

Any tips on keeping a master at high soeed? It feels wobbly and leans too much forward as a noob.
@alexiszakariene Жыл бұрын
The master can take a while to adjust to the high oedal height, but on trails is amazing! I d suggest carving instead if going on a straight line as it can prevent wobbles. If it leans too much forward have you tried hard mode? Or 3rd party powerd pads? Or to move you feed slightly backwards. Perhaps as a last resort recalibrating? Let me know if you sort it out 😊🙌
@pacochawa2746 Жыл бұрын
@@alexiszakariene Thanks. I think I put euc too much forward. I have cheap power pads now. Will have better ones next on the list. The wobbles are scarry above 20pmh. Getting used to it.

I see reviewers mentioning that the Patton at high speed is not that stable and safe. just because the wheel is small. So would u consider ir unsafe at high speed ? Im between the sherman s and patton. And im thinking ShermanS just because is a bigger wheel, more stable for high speed. Coming from a v11.. which is bigger than the Patton, I already feel unsafe on v11 at 50kph. I just wonder a higher speed in a smaller wheel like Patton will just make me feel even more unsafe.
@alexiszakariene Жыл бұрын
If I were to pick a wheel mainly for high speed riding between the Patton amd Sherman S, I would chose the Sherman S. Not only it is more stable at speed due to the bigger diameter, hence less chance of wobbles, but also because having more battery capacity it can sustain high speed for longer. That doesn't mean that the Patton is not capable. Due to its cunky weight and knobby tyre the patton feels more stable at speed than I had expected ( I felt unsafe on my ks16s around 50mph too, similarly to your experience with the v11) Hope it helps 🙌
