Hi Corventus, thanks for this video. I have managed to get Lu-Bu to a strong level and have his weapon, but feel that there's a considerable disconnect between his description and actual performance in a fight which, so far at least, has been underwhelming at best. I have used him in attack and defense with a +5 Freya and other strong red heroes and have fought several teams in Arena that have him at +5. Aside from the taunting, not much more has happened. Maybe he's not functioning properly and just needs to be fixed but, at the moment, I'm sadly not impressed. All the best to you.

Do remember that his reflection will only do 40% of damage, as he has 60% damage prevention. The longer the fight goes, the more damage he does. Although, as you saw in the video, he has potential of doing a lot of damage.

​@@TrueCorventusI'm sure that's the case, but would nonetheless expect more from a +5 hero with his 90-level weapon. I hit a 330k mono red team with LB at +5 in the center - the team was gradually destroyed around him, mainly by Gillian and Director N, but there appeared to be little response from him.

If you don't have Freya, would you pair him with Alia or Mildred (think I heard you mention Mildred)?

Freya to +1. Red desperately needs more mana and she's one of the few heroes that give it 💪

It took awhile but I got him to +1. As soon as I saw he was a taunt hero, I immediately went for him. Haven’t noticed crazy amounts of damage but since he is taking less, not as much will be reflected.

Yup, exactly 💪 He may do more damage if you combine him with Surtr. But his job is to help keep your team alive.

Still trying to get him to +1. Is it worth getting his exclusive weapon in Destiny Chart OR would it be better to get another heroes’ weapon? We might be due for a must-have list of exclusive weapons with all the new heroes that have been released. Thanks!

Sounds like Taron's weapon is the best choice for ya 💪. Gunnolf can hold the whip and other weapons, but Taron & Lü-Bu require their own weapons.

Yup, tricky, but doable 💪 Freya is the best one on defense, but on the attack, it's more flexible.

I think it is Lu Bu, but they used V instead of U as you do in latin. Donno why. It's how you write Romulus (Romvlvs)

They fixed the typo, and apparently it is pronounced as "Ly-Bu"

That is an interesting option 🤔 However, his own weapon gives him 75% mana gain AND 60% shields, which is sooo much more powerful 💪

It is pronounced Ly-Bo(h) - you can hear the pronouncation at the English Wikipedia when you search for Lü Bo (don't know why they are using a German umlaut maybe because it is pronounced this way) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%C3%BC_Bu
