best part of the deal for me is seeing how well you all work together and how much you guys really seem to enjoy the work you're doing...dangerous work that is mitigated by your state of the art equipment and your well trained employees. that is the magic that can only be made with lots of experienced hands! nicely done guys...SAFETY IS NO.1 wherever you go...congrats on your first job with the Grove!

Yes, drum it into your employees every day. You CANNOT TURN BACK TIME - after an event. If they are empowered to speak up, STOP THE JOB, at any suspicion that things could go wrong ,,, tell them to speak up! Everyone of the team has the power to speak-up, stop the job.

Reon, your family is beautiful! Your kids are adorable, and your son is right when he says your new Grove crane is BAD ASS! I first heard of you from Jacob's videos when he came to visit you and did the jobs with your three different cranes. I am now a subscriber!

I will say. This man. Reon. Is by far the best crane cutter I've ever came across! Just talked to him and even on a Saturday this man took the time out to talk tree stuff with me. That's not as good as his ability to judge picks on jobs but its a close second. Honestly, this man makes our field so proud to have someone like him around to show us a better way. Thank you sir

Retired 49er from Minnesota with 40 plus years of experience on the crawlers, AT's, RT's and tower cranes. Started on the old friction rigs and am always astounded when I see the awesome machines such as your new Grove. My wife asked me if my machine, a 5299 American crawler, on one particular job had air conditioning. This was a hot July day and I said yeah, you just moved your feet to the side of the floor and a nice cool breeze came up at you from the rusted out spots! LOL, any way, many good memories. Never worked a day in my hoisting career. I loved my job and loved going to work.

It is what I feel like when I get a new camera or lens for my photography business, only 10,000 - 20,000 times more expensive. What a pleasure to watch and learn about something entirely new. Of course, I had a crane when I was young and build a working model of the crane at Bath Iron Works in Maine, but they were much smaller. Congratulations!

Great video!! It may seem to some like overkill to use a truck crane on a job like this but so much safer. Have seen way too many trees crash into houses and other buildings. Have never used a crane of the 4100s size but have used numerous boom truck cranes and RTs to help take down trees. Much safer!!

Definitely overall all this seems more predictable.

Great job. This equipment in your stable appears to me will allow for smaller more compact less costly set-ups and crewing as you get used to the enhanced capibilites this crane allows your firm, which these operational savings will end up on your bottom line as a direct pass-thru. Such as making a decision to go to a second job with-out expenses of staging/marshalling the equipment and crew again adding to your bottom line. Ray Stormont

Those real cranes can put down some big outrigger forces. May want to run some real outrigger mats. Stay up with the maintenance on that crane. Not sure if you have a pinned boom but I can say our GMK 5200 at work needs the boom to be pulled and pin holes welded and re-bored. A low-hour crane but it could be a result of improper maintenance/adjustment or boom sensor issues. About a $60,000 repair. I think we have a bit of a lemon since we've had a lot of electrical problems plus a steering pump going out.
