I love the look of these rods and I have 3 of them on order so I'm waiting patiently for them to turn up sweet and another great video

Managed to snap Grey's platinum twice, Greys were good with customer service though.

I can see what you're trying to do on your distance casts but your timing is a little off. If you're going to try and step into the cast your foot needs to be stamping down just as you reach full compression to maximise weight transfer, you seem to be taking a step and then casting which isn't really achieving much. If you can't coordinate the movement then you're probably better off just keeping a firm and stationary footing and focussing on punching with your right and pulling with your left, having a bit of a stretch/warm up first will help ensure you're generating as much power as possible and make your arms feel more cooperative

greys used to be a great fishing rod manufacturer but now their rods are pure shyte compared to the ones of years gone by.they have stopped making the prodigy txl 12ft and 13ft they were very good rods.we brought 2 of our 12ft prodigy txl specialist float rods to a very good repair man here in Ireland we got him to take off the silly rings that greys had on them and replace them with double legged rings and what a rod they are now we use them for salmon fishing for worm and prawn and they are simply outstanding. The man that done them for us is probably the best in the country at repairing rods and he was so impressed with our rods that he went and bought one for himself.he won the world fly casting competetion a few times so he should know what he is talking about.I think Greys was a good company but i thing they have started to go down the wrong road.
