Well, courtesy of their crooked businessmen fathers, Kennedy and Trump had money for elaborate engagement rings. Neither of them could have afforded “stunning” rings without living off their dads, The only other ones that might have come close to that kind of money to spend would have been GHW Bush and GW Bush, and possibly Reagan, but Nancy was already two months pregnant when they got married, so engagement rings were probably not a priority. The others were of relatively modest means when they were engaged.

You can order a replica of the original design of that ring on Etsy set in Sterling Silver or gold if you want to spend more. The original had the same emerald cut diamond and emerald set in a bypass style with 6 baguettes down the sides. Very elegant. Joe Kennedy, JFK's Dad picked it out from Van Cleef and Arpel. Jackie had it redesigned later on. Etsy did have the redesigned style but it is sold out. You can see photos of it doing a search of Jackie Kennedy's original engagement ring. Of course the replicas are clear and green zirconias, not real diamond and emerald.
