The name's rashi (on the sound of the starting letter) always lies in the kendra to the Navamsa lagna. My birth name's rashi is in Cancer and current name's rashi is in Capricorn, so the planets therein would influence my personality. If my Navamsa lagna would be anything other than the rashis in kendra to my name rashis, the amount of free will I would have would be immense and even a little effort (including spiritual) in the direction I want would give me the required results. The very fact that it isn't the case and nothing seems to be working in my favor points out to the lagna being in kendra to my name rashis (or kendra to Cancer and Capricorn).

I've one question regarding Bill Gates. I don't deny the 'dhanyoga' Saturn is creating in his chart. But for any Cancer Asc native Saturn is biggest Maraka. How come despite being the biggest maraka Saturn in his case gave him extreme luck and extreme wealth? Or you change the lagna from 'Cancer' to 'Gemini' and try to rationalize the same thing

Actually one cannot use these techniques without understanding the basis behind them. Pranpada technique or any other technique unless tested on a large number of charts (10000+) with high accuracy (95) percent and the reasoning for not working also,cannot be used reliably. Mathematical techniques represent a physical truth or phenomena in form of mathematical equations. Unless we know the how and why, we cannot use them.
