Excellent results, you sure seem to be very happy, as you should be. Congratulations. 👍 I have been doing AP for about 10 years, mostly using an ASI-1600mm Cool. I'll be purchasing a "2600" mono soon and I can't wait to see how well it works.

Found your video from just looking at pretty astrophotography on Reddit, and this was quite enlightening to watch for someone who knows practically nothing about astrophotography! A very nicely done video and quite the stunning results, the final result is incredible. Thank you for sharing this!

Welcome! I’m glad you liked it and thanks for watching! It’s truly a fun hobby and to share my results here and on Reddit sometimes :) I’m still blown away by the performance of this camera, unfortunately I’ve only had clouds after this video! 😅

You remind me of myself! I love the passion. I happen to have the same camera. Nice work. Where are you located? Just curious.

Glad to hear that! Welcome! :) I live in the worst area in the northern Europe for astrophotography - Center of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden and the largest city of the north.

Hi. Great info. I’m in a B9 sky as well in Edmonton. Quick question: How did you set up Stellarium to give you just that narrow slice of sky?
@GediAstro
@GediAstro 4 ай бұрын
You need to take a 360 degree panorama of your location and then check landscapes folder in Stellarium (if I remember correct) and just create a new zip landscape using one of theirs as a template!

Must to be tough to work there on that balcony in town. Probably limits what you can shoot? Or not - that's a pretty awesome shot you got in the end!

Thanks man, I appreciate that! It's definitely limiting, but with planning I can optimize the photography. Also - I have a pretty portable setup, so I will take my stuff out to dark locations and chill in the car for a few hours :-)
