You've just listened to one of the greatest love songs ever! This was written and produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, who were on fire in the '80s. Force M.D.'s are huge Michael Jackson fans so he inspired those amazing vocals. My recommendation would be their song "Love Is A House."

I had my first dance with the boy I had a crush on for a long time. My hands were sweating and I felt so shy. He drew me closer and I just remember this song playing. It takes me back to this moment when I felt so alive, and nervous and happy. I was 16 years old. My first love, dancing at the school dance in the gymnasium.

Another dope Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis produced track!! The Force MDs are one of the first groups (UTFO, New Edition, Whistle) that started to mix R&B with Hip Hop in the music industry. Some more tite songs from them are: Love Is A House, Take Your Love Back, Couldn't Care Less, Walking On Air, Tears, Here We Go Again, Touch And Go & Forgive Me Girl.

I'm so glad the younger generation is listening to the "Oldies" AKA "Goodies" and appreciate GREAT music! Because the stuff that's out there now, is NOT it! They sang about what real love is and how to treat a woman! Young women and men please wake up. This is it >TENDER LOVE!!! You deserve this kind of love ❤️

The band was originally named The L.D.s, and then became the Force MCs, due to their Hip Hop roots, ultimately they settled on the name The Force MDs, MD standing for Musical Diversity. The group began performing on Times Square, New York City street corners, and during trips on the Staten Island ferry. After the L.D.s connected with DJ Dr. Rock (Roger Daniels), they then performed as "Dr. Rock & the Force MCs." The group was discovered by hip hop promoter Vansilk in summer 1981. The three members were Dr. Rock, Stevie D., and Mercury. In collaboration with Dr. Rock, the group continued to perfect their unique sound, which was unusual at the time: a fusion of doo-wop harmonies and hip-hop that involved singing, rapping, and group member's "human beatbox" melodies at underground hip hop shows. They gained even more credibility and respect from local fans after competing in an emcee lyrical battle against the well-known Cold Crush Brothers from the Bronx in 1983.

One of my favorite groups they don’t get enough credit when people talk about groups. They have plenty of good songs you can react too and all just as great as “Tender Love” here are some to name a few “ Tears”, “Love is a House”, “ Here I go again”, “Let me love you down”. TC had the ultimate smooth voice!!! RIP… so happy you reacted to them! Thank you!

To think ALL of these guys are deceased now. Just terrible. TC, the lead singer, died in 1998. how can a man that you die of ALS is just tragic. Easily the worst kind of death I could imagine outside of being buried alive. So when I listen to this, and I was in high school when this was the song, its two fold. just love the song (as well as Love Is A House which is a classic). but I have sorrow since they all died so young

Her head is movin but she has the same reaction to every song she hears. Is hard to tell if she’s really in to the music. She seems fake acting like she likes it ,some music maybe she does, but that’s just my opinion.
