I’m a retired Harley mechanic and had a chance to ride a Valkyrie and ended buying one for $2000 with 5000 miles and I ride this coast to coast every year now with 90,000 miles still going and the only thing I’ve ever done was tires, brakes and oil change, what a perfect bike

I’m a bike guy, I don’t care what it is but…. Only twice have I ridden a bike that when I got off I said I have to own one. The first is my current Eluder that took 4 years to find the right one and the other is a Valkyrie. Money is currently being saved up and considering selling a couple of bikes to make it happen. My buddy Bruce is a good - bad influence here. Lol

Purchased another 97 Valkyrie which I am currently riding. Just demoed a 98 Valkyrie Tourer. I'm sure this will be my fourth Valkyrie. LOVE my 99 Valkyrie. I've take a Valkyrie from Houston to Vancouver and back, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again and again. Enjoyed your review. As for the saddle, if anyone has a Valkyrie I recommend looking into an outfit called "Ultimate saddle" Everyone's tastes are different but I think they have the best saddles on the market bar none. I've tried Corbin, Mustang, and Saddlemen, and they're all better than stock, but nothing beats my Ultimate, and my inseam is 32". Cheers!

A good bike is a good bike. I just traded my 2003 silver/white Suzuki Volusia for a 2022 crimson/maroon Indian Pursuit Limited. 19 years on the Volusia and nothing more than regular service (tires, batteries, and oil). The Pursuit has taken quite a long time to feel comfortable on as I've been a lifelong cruiser rider. The extra 300 pounds didn't sound like a lot as I've been riding for around 55 years, but it's been quite a learning curve. Basic instinct finally took over after I got used to the difference in weight. Anyhow, only time will tell if my new Pursuit will hold up as long and as well as old trusty Volusia. Keep the rubber against the road.

I have a 2001 F6C. I have a 2003 FLTCHUI Ultra Classic Electra Glide. When the Harley is in the shop, the Honda is backup. Now that Harley went Woke, the Honda is my main stay. @@Paint_Can It’s fun to ride. The original owner put truck stacks on it with a viking seat. I bored out 2 of three holes for sound on each side. Baffles don’t come out of mine. Very comfortable. Avon’s are new and I put a lithium battery in it. I put the right Kiryaken pegs on it to. Just need the cobra pipes and cobra passenger footboards to be complete.
@Paint_Can3 ай бұрын
@aristarchuscom mine was mostly stock except the cobra floorboards and a few chrome pieces. I put the cobra 6 into 6 on and left the tiny baffles in. what a difference in sound. I think it sounds better with the cobra baffles in.

Almost zero vibration. Unbelievably well balanced. Many people have videos of putting a coin on end on the valve cover, start the engine and rev it a few times without the coin tipping over.

It is a boxer. Look at the crank, it has six throws, opposed in pairs. A non-boxer would only have three throws.

@@StevenRogers-hw9dj "A flat-six engine, also known as a horizontally opposed-six, is a six-cylinder piston engine with three cylinders on each side of a central crankshaft. Other sources suggest that the Valk was conceived in large part to utilize tooling and/or engines/parts from existing Goldwing production. When those engines /parts were used/sold, and a new GW model (GL1800) and its tooling was adopted, Honda moved away from the 1500.

The flags on you vest scream christian nationalism
@Paint_Can8 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting. I’d like to address you in two parts, the Christian flag absolutely is my belief. I won’t get preachy in my videos but I do believe in Jesus for my salvation and not only am I a Christian but I’m a Christian pastor. The round blue and white SECC is the church where I’m pastor. The black and white American flag with the red stripe is a little different. It’s a tradition in the U.S. to put an American flag on the left upper chest of a vest, I have the red stripe because I’ve been a firefighter for 29 years and an officer for about 10 of those years up to and including Fire Chief. Yes, I am proud to call myself a volunteer firefighter and of my community service.Both of these things I’ve mentioned are an attempt to help others for a greater good. Nationalism? In a sense but not really. I feel fortunate to have been born and still reside in a “free” country but I’m also completely ashamed of our government and its actions for at least 30 years. Whether liberal or conservative, in my opinion our leaders are dishonest and will do anything to get re-elected instead of doing what’s right for the people. So I guess if that makes me a Christian nationalist or if you disagree with me, ok 🤷🏼♂️ that’s the great part about America we have that right. It is what it is. Have a great day. 😎
