Brilliant vid, thanks Joe. Interesting to hear your comment about the SLAM inserts, these were great cards in the Hoops sets. Also seeing 'player worn' on a card conjures up Panini sending out 100 pieces of sports wear to these players telling them to wear each for a few seconds and bring them in to the office when you sign some auto stickers!

Yeah it’s a bummer about SLAM this year…that was such a popular insert so I can only imagine there must have been some sort of licensing or contractual issue to prevent them from including those again

I think this might be a rare Panini product where an equivalent value of blaster boxes (about 5) might be better than a hobby box. You'll get more rookies and probably about the same amount of holo inserts, with a shot at #d cards and autos. Nice hits!

can someone tell me the for and against for blasters vs hobby boxs please? which one should you get?

That’s actually a really complicated question to answer. What are your goals? Are you just opening boxes for fun? Or are you trying to hit some really expensive and rare cards to turn a profit? Hobby boxes and retail boxes both have positives and negatives, so it really depends on what you’re trying to get out of them.

@@davidcampbell5940 yeah those are definitely fun to open. More often than not, you’ll get a relic instead of an auto. But at least the winter sweater cards are kinda cool. If you don’t mind collegiate cards, you can get Prizm Draft hobby for like $100 or so and you get 4 autos per box and a bunch of numbered cards and a shot at some cool rare inserts like Color Blast, Stained Glass, and Manga

@@BigJBasketball prizm draft hobbyu seems to be much more expensive here in Australia. A blaster is about 70 dollars here, retail about 150 and hobby box 250

Hopefully that JA Morant and RJB jersey was left over rookie year jersey that Panini had. Otherwise yes it means Panini is stooping even lower if that's possible, and now vets ain't even game worn.😡🤬🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Yeah that’s what I was thinking…hopefully that was just leftover material from their rookie photo shoot jerseys I won’t make too big of a deal out of it since it’s just a low-end Hoops set, but I’ll definitely be paying attention to relics in some of the higher ends sets when they start coming out

I’m sure we’ll still see plenty of game-worn stuff from the past couple years. They’re definitely going to want to put those Diamond 75th anniversary logomen into cards for sure
