Just an FYI: The OPC Premieres are color-coded to the team colors and that only the retros have blank backs, so you don't have to check the base cards for blank backs. Great Vid!!!!

I actually liked last year’s design better, especially the Premiers. It always had a retro feel. This feels more like a MVP product. Just me. OPC last year at 80$ tax in was a good price. This year, I’ll check it out, but if it’s 120$, that’s a lot. Still want a Bedard rookie. But if they’re 100$, will even settle for a glossy rookie or a rookie stars box set.

In 7 boxes from the LCS case we’ve seen 2 Marquee Rookie Bedard… I’m enjoying the rips because it’s something new. You can only rip so many boxes of artifacts or SPA with a meh rookie class. I’ve seen a Cherry Wood card, a printing plate 1/1, and a couple of the really low odds cards, the trophy ones, a logo card, etc. Also nice to have Cooley and Fantilli, etc RCs.

I don’t mind OPC at all.. Honestly don’t know why it has such a bad rap.. I think the large checklist kinda hurts it but other than that you get more numbered hits than flagship.. Like you said Bedards YG is going to be crazy but realistically an OPC black border /100 should be more .. the hobby doesn’t make sense anymore.
