They had a Bike Night going on for the launch and had specials for folks who rode in, there is traffic at the right dealerships. Dealership doing community stuff and having activates like this with food and drinks and unveiling bikes and I did a live from there for the launch. We made a party out of it!

Yes hd did lose weight on the bike. As you said by not putting speakers or lights on the bike. Plus the lower fairing is just a shield now. Looks like something off of a victory bike. Not big on the bike. Nor the price.

Great info. I love the updates, colors on the tour bikes, the 117 upgrades on Softail. The availability of a chrome engine on the ST is awesome. Only downside I see are the price increases, but I work in a manufacturing industry and see our cost increases first hand. Hate to say it but, it’s just the way of our world . Have everybody noticed all of the KZbin motovlogers are trying to convince us that this bike is good. This bike is a total failure it’s not a limited. They just slapped a king tour pack on a bike. And the pack sits too high.

@ the lights, speaker pods and quick detach was all standard equipment. That is the same setup as a 2012 ultra. They are going back in time. So spend 30k plus for the bike then another 1k for lights and parts it should have come with.

I think its a pretty good job. Ive had several Ultra Limiteds. I dont care about speakers, we've got new larger tail lights in the slots by the saddlebags already, and with the new LED headlamp and large LED turn signal/running lights youve got plent of visibility. There a slot to add aftermarket fog lights...it looks a good job to me. Im not disappointed.

Great video, thank you! Overall beautiful bike, and I'm absolutely loving that remote preload adjuster. But...I was expecting the Ultra to have unique wheels from the Street Glide (and that they'd be all black for the black trim models), passing lamps up front, tour pack lights on the back, painted inner fairing and rear speakers. Feels a bit light on the "Ultra."

How about seat to ground distance is the same as previous street glides? I am short and sit flat footed on my 2020 Street glide but never could stand flat footed on a standard Ultra.

I would say the difference is this seat so you could put the Street Glide Seat on it and get back to the Current Street Glide height, if you want it even lower your going to have to give up some suspension travel...

It's a nice bike but if I traded in my Ultra Limited, I'd feel like I was downgrading. Any word if an Ultra Limited or Road Glide Limited will be coming out later this year or in 2026? You'd think that H-D would want to stay on top of the Grand American Touring market by offering more and not less. I was hoping H-D would offer everything on the the old Ultra Limited and maybe add on an electric adjustable windshield and quick shift found on other manufacture's touring bikes.

A bit disappointed since this is the flagship. No lights on the tour pack?! Does the tour pack have an internal power outlet like the outgoing Ultra? Like the idea of being able to adjust preload without removing the saddlebag. I just hope it doesn't become a point for the passenger to rest their heel on long trips, LOL. You forgot to mention that the rear shocks are different as well, 13”. So now there is 3” of travel to accommodate the extra touring weight.

@@Kenn1969 I didn’t forget anything. Maybe I incorrectly assumed it was obvious . The limited have had 13 inches of shocks and the new road glides and street glides have 13 inch shocks with 3 inches of travel. There will be a more in-depth video on this once I get to ride it in the future we will cover more of the specs.

Looks real good and promising. As I stated months ago, I had doubts they would discontinue the Ultra. My next prediction is there will be a RG Ultra in the near future as the RG is best seller now. Wondering, since the SG Ultra is 50 lbs lighter, are they now using a Lithium battery or still a lead acid battery as that would be about 25 lbs saving right there.

Nice job Mike. I read the Dennis Chung article on the possible redesign of the new tour-pak's. Wondering if I should wait until that comes out so the rear speakers can stay up by the passenger as opposed to putting them into the saddlebags. I also wasn't a fan of the dual license plate brackets on the back of the new Street Glide Ultra. There's a plate holder on the rear fender at the bottom and another one right under the tour-pak, (like my Limited now), so there's 2 plate brackets??

Getting this ultra is actually quite a bit cheaper than buying a street glide and adding all these parts. So if you were gonna put a tour pack and some other parts on your street glide you would save a lot of money by going this route.

Just adding a harley tour pack is almost 3000 dollars. The new lowers are 800. Then you need me crash bars, fairing supports. Navigation is 350. Heated grips 400. Bag guards 350. Taller windscreen ia a couple hundred. Touring seat is a few hundred, passenger floor boards,etc etc

I bought a Victory Cross Country Tour in 2013. Upside down front fork, rear suspension pre load adjustable via air hand pump, ABS, speed control, heated grips, heated seat, radio with USB connection, 4 loud speakers, a smooth running engine, enough power. Easily convertible, ride without trunk, in summer without leg shields, etc.....and all this in series, no extra costs or expensive aditional equipment to buy. And now, 2025, HD comeing up with the Street Glide Ultra..... Wow, what a development for Milwaukee. Don't get me wrong. After Polaris closed Victory down, I bought HD and still riding my HD. But the two words innovation and HD do not really belong together. And HD price politics is.......

The new tour pack alone makes it worth the extra money. Not to mention the heated grips and lowers if you like that look. Gotta admit disappointed only two speakers, though. Ultra is primarily for a two up riding. Not having the 4 speaker setup is poor marketing on Harley's part. Also, no third brake light in the luggage rack or tour pack brake lights like previous model. It's not huge BUT it is something.

Ok help me out here, what does the Voyager have more of? To me the feature set seems similar but HD has better tech (IMO) including the display and more safety aids, heated grips, built in navigation. Oh and a butt load more torque, and it’s lighter. I am serious so please help me see what I’m missing. I’m not that familiar with the voyager except on paper.

An ultra is not about "tech" it's about the ultimate luxurious riding experience with attention to every detail, like rear speakers, illuminated tour pack, fog/passing lights, ABS breaks, all wheel breaking, all of which a cheap japanese motorcycle company can still give it's customers. How can you call a motorcycle an "ultra" when you've eliminated everything that made it an ultra. So, your getting a computer tablet as your dashboard, big deal, everybody is doing that. But, when Harley turns their motorcycles into "build-a-bear", it's time to look somewhere else.

Nice, how unfortunate that the HD corporate money-making machine is at it again. The flagship model should have rear speakers and lights as standard, especially at that price. Instead, another way to get a few more dollars out of the customer - which I suppose HD knows, that those who are willing to pay that much for this motorcycle will be willing to pay extra for the optional bits. There will never be one in my garage because I think the thing is ugly and is everything a motorcycle should not be. On a more positive note, it's about time HD fitted a stock comfortable seat for both rider and passenger on a bike that is sold for 2-up riding, especially on a touring model.

In the uk the ultra is only $1250 more than a street glide that’s a lot of extras for the cash So speaker grills lowers with the new crash bar heated grips rear guards rear floorboards tour pack with all the mountings touring seat higher screen. @@RidingintheOzarks Been riding Ultra's for 10 year's. Been riding Harley's for over 40 year's. To me this is just a SG with accessories. No tour pack lights or speakers. I know I'm getting picky but just my opinion.

No speakers on the tour pack. No lights on the tour pack. This is no replacement for the Ultra Classic/Limited. I don't like the faring or passing lamps either but that is subjective - but the tour pack - NNNOOOOOOO. Guys, what are you doing???

Yes add all the extra parts on the street glide to look like a ultra but guess what when you go to trade that bike in you won't get any extra money for those add-ons. Good o Harley don't give extra money for them . buy a Indian .

Harley is struggling with their Corporate Motto,, Offer less - charge more. I wonder what would happen if they adopted a philosophy of Quality products for a great price? ,,, they certainly have come up with ideas that fall flat ,,, the same person that decided everyone wants an electric Harley must have decided everyone wants a Harley that looks like a billiard ball 🙄 ,, I’ll keep my OLD bikes that don’t look like Ray Charles picked out the paint colors !!

I am looking for a hold over 23. I don't want a blacked out as the 24 are and the 25 is not a Ultra. Plus the lowers are not good looking at all and i am not a real fan of the fairing. Yes you can make a Road Glide into an so called Ultra no thanks. I feel like my demographic has been left out in the cold. Maybe at my age it's a sign to ride my 2018 limited and save for a boat!

The motorcycle industry is going to be taking a beating this year. I predict numerous HD dealers folding up going broke. I got news for miserable HD. I am not paying their high dollar price for their crap. And being forced to pay for a custom paint job when the paint is factory is outrageous. So, one has no paint selection unless one wants to fork out another 3000 for paint. BMW offers everything this crappy bike has for 8K less and 105HP versus 160HP. This summer will see a huge price drop on brand new 2023 and 2024 still sitting on the dealership floor. Then I will buy an Indian. They are about 5 years ahead of HD.

I ordered a 2021 Ultra Limited. I couldn’t believe how much they removed off the bike year over year. No chrome rims , rear shifter , one less key fob . Replaced the chrome transmission cover with black . I went to close the fairing vent and found they removed that ability as well. There’s much more to list . I ordered it so I bought it . Last bike I’ll purchase from them . Every bit of $2000.00 grand removed year over year. A shell of what a Limited had on it when the first came out .

Why are you so out of breath standing there talking about the bike? Seems like the new lowers are completely covering up airflow into the intake.. no sleek little cut through or snorkel? I guess as long as Harley rider has warm shins then everything‘s okay 👌
