Looks great - apart from the stand. I'm looking at developing the base diorama and concealing the stand with a modeled piece of 'themed battle damaged wreckage' from a flying HK or similar.

Is it possible for him to stand up completely straight without it being hunched over? This has been my biggest concern about the complete model since this magazine was announced with Hachette and I’ve not been able to get a definitive answer since

You can pose how you wish and if you want it standing straighter you could put spacers in the bottom of the base. Use longer screws and you will gain a couple of inches.

World of Wayne Ooooh, okay. Hopefully it’s as easy as it sounds, just worried that over time, the model will begin slumping over due to the weight and the flexible spine connecting the pelvis, if it’s possible to get him completely straight, that’d mitigate the issue tremendously.

World of Wayne when the time comes to do the base it would be great if you could do a vid/guide to explain exactly what you mean here as it will really help a lot of us out I think. I simply can’t have this guy posed hunched/squatting like the prototype and it looks like the bracket attaches to a specific part of the back? Thinking I maybe should have just gone for the 1/2 scale Sideshow piece instead? But to be fair I have really enjoyed this build so far 😀

Hi wayne have you noticed there are 4 springs missing in the chest area and the neck pistons are not movie accurate but are ribbed would just like your thoughts on this

There were so many different props and models in all the movies it makes this impossible to draw a conclusion with a definitive screen accurate model.

@@WorldofWayneUK l have a hot toys 1/4 scale and have looked at the sideshow 1/1 scale and looked at movie shots and all have the extra 4 pipes nowhere else have l seen the ribbed neck pistons its no big deal l will just order more springs as issue is released for them l have found brass tubes on ebay one mill increments which will fit into one another then get them elecro plated and l have found a company that does the springs as one set of them are about half the diameter of the other springs its a good build Wayne but l have done upgrades on the pelvic pistons forearm and lower leg and had model modz eyes all good fun eh

I wonder if the hachette one will have the power button in the side of the head for the eyes and mouth as we have already completed both sides of the head and it doesn't look like it would have space for a button 🤔 interesting 🤔 anyway enjoy your holiday in sunny Scotland Wayne 🙂 you have inspired me with this video to finally catch up with the 20 odd issues I have to complete of the terminator today 👍

@@TDax yeah probably, the blue button doesn't look particularly great anyway maybe just done that to get the prototype to work, be interesting to see how they are going to do it for the actual build. I got a few issues done and realised I have lost the Allen key 😭😭😭 so that has halted my progress at issue 50 something.

stuart gibson ....it’s a standard sized Allen key....just pick up a cheap set from a hardware/ diy shop. ....or get one of those multi function screw drivers that comes with loads of bits....they usually have a selection of Allen key bits (that’s what I use)

I've decided to have a crack at this version. I'm about 3 boxes into it. I had to order the teeth from Modelmodz twice cause I had a clumsy accident. The Threaded inserts for the knuckles, I wasn't happy with, but that's my opinion. I used Ivory Spray pain to colour the teeth, thats turned out lovely. Parts of the the model are a pain in the back side but looking at this model, just excited me more.

It’s 120 stages. Agora do it over 12 deliveries

Definitely like Agora picking up these builds with more to come (Bugatti, Ironman, a fixed Delorean?) Also noticed some minor gaps with the prototype framework, but it is a prototype... Looks great. Conga rats with getting to show off all the new builds. Have a great vacation!

The1:8th test run for the Bugatti Veyron supersport is being done by EM/not Agora models at all different magazine publishers

1) No disrespect meant to anyone 2) Aware of Eaglemoss, DeAgostini, Model-Space, Hachette-Centauria, Pocher, etc - lots of players in the game 3) Aware some suggested builds were test runs. Bugatti, Ironman, Apollo- saw Wayne's playlists for them - My point is: Agora seems to be a company that finally is getting the kits: a) Made completely available b) Reliably delivered c) Fixing earlier released design flaws d) Priced competitively to the other guys -I, like most people, would love to see them continue with more offerings. Most importantly we need Wayne to enjoy his family vacation, return refreshed and back to doing his youtube builds ASAP!

Looks great. As I plan to have my T800 mounted on the wall, I don't think I'll be using the base\stand..... however, if I ever did, think I'd be painting the stand black, rather than chrome, as it would be a better contrast against the T800 chrome and any back-drop.

Even though this is a really heavy model you can pick it up from that U shaped support frame so thats good.

42x42cm as I recall and about 10cm height when you take into account the chains\skulls etc. I'm sure Wayne will correct me if wrong.

I'm beginning to wonder how the base is going to cope getting to the newsagent or via the post as most magazines seem to have gone through the wringer by the time they get to me. Gah, another 60fps KZbin video format. Same problem as I have with everyone else's KZbin channels when they go 60fps. Choppy playback and out of sync audio. Absolutely hate it. Got a nice fast internet connection and a not too old Windows 10 laptop with half decent specs, but it just won't let me watch the 60fps KZbin videos everyone's started putting out lately. I have to dumb it down to 480p to get any sense out of the thing. :(

So, Chrome has been getting steadily slower and slower over the past few weeks to the point where it's unusable. Switched over to Firefox and it's doing the same. BUT, Microsoft Edge works full speed ahead all over the Internet. Wouldn't put it past Microsoft to be bottlenecking all Internet data that doesn't go through their Edge browser now to encourage people to use the thing. It's the only one that doesn't cause problems. This video of yours works fine using Edge. :/
