Just watched some older L1T videos, Wendell looks so much healthier and happier right now. Keep it up, we need you for a long time. I can't trust these companies without you!

I feel like I say this in every thread, but I believe Wendell said he caught Lyme disease & developed a meat allergy. I don't know how he's coping with the exhaustion that comes along with that
@zipkitty10 ай бұрын
@@Collin_J oh crap, did not know that. I am feeling so stupid right now. Get well soon big guy. How the hell did he get bitten by a tick, aren't we den dwellers immune from that occurrence? Damned ticks...

+1 for Wendell to attain national treasure status. I may or may not have a running archive of all L1T and L1L videos and trying to figure out the best way to run a weekly archive of the L1 forums for my End of the World box.

I'm glad that companies are now releasing cheap and accessible sff cases. It wasn't even that long ago that the only good sff cases came from boutique manufacturers that were 200+ dollars and took 6 months to ship. This is so much better

I loved the NR200 so much that I built 3 computers with them. Two for myself and I convinced a friend to buy one and I helped him build it.

I've been building in ITX for decades now and recently got on a good sale an NR200P, I was impressed by the amount of accessories it came with and how easy it was to build. Kudos to CoolerMaster

The NR200 is my favorite case, and this one looks just as good. I really appreciate that they come with the option for included power supply and AIO, makes building a dream for SFF.

My only worry is the AIO. Was originally looking at this with a 13700k but idk with the thermal limitations. May have to go AMD again for cooler running cpu.

I tried the nr200, wasn't a fan, ended up going with the ssupd meshlicious, then the meshroom. Looks like coolermaster likes the design. I am actually using the coolermaster 1100 sfx psu in my build.

Haven't reached the end of the video yet. But as learned from another reviewer doing this case there may be an issue with the 12VHPWR. Because yes it is 90 degree. But with those GPU's that have the reversed connections it may be more difficult to connect. Depending on the variation of the connector which changes the placement of the power and sense pins.

I'm just starting to plan out my new PC build, and I'm glad I didn't buy anything yet! I was debating on using the NR200 or go to a full size tower - but this case looks absolutely amazing! I'm super excited to get my hands on it once it releases.
@Iscandelt10 ай бұрын
NR200 could really use an update to add type - C and to be slightly bigger to accomodate for enormous RTX40 gpus. If I think about an update for NR200, this is definetly not that. Offtop. I personally also own and use a PC build in NR200.

I went with an Asus Prime AP201; it's ~10L bigger but it's got room for everything
@Sheltur_031110 ай бұрын
the issue ofc compared to NR200 is that that 10L bigger is horizontal and not vertical thus taking more desk space@@swampmullet

I'd like to see a case in that size/form factor that has at least 8 bays for 3.5" drives instead of room for a gigantic gpu. It's a nice shape to place on a table behind a TV for a living room TrueNAS. SFX power supply and motherboard in the bottom, and a couple of 140mm fans in a chimney setup directing cooling over the spinning rust.

Really love the design of the "ASRock OC Formula RX 6950/6900 XT" If you want current gen. with a nice design I suggest you take a look at the "Sapphire Nitro+" series.
@darkktint597410 ай бұрын
I still have the nr200p max I seen a version 2 where you can put a bigger GPU. The front has a cut out so the GPU can extend out the front frame of the case so now there is only 1 2.5 inch available you can attach. But this is not ideal for me 120 mm aio is not a option for me personally.

Careful with CoolerMaster PSUs. We built all of our workstations using CM Gold and Platinum PSUs and 4 out of 7 units died within 2 years. Not a particularly high sample rate but it was enough to convince me never to use CM PSUs again. Switched to SeaSonic and Corsair and those are going strong ever since.

If connected to a GPU, then yes, it would be plugged in from the bottom. If using onboard graphics it would be plugged into the motherboard and exit the side.

I just want all these reviews to start with the price. When they don’t, you just know it is Uber expensive. $399 for this case, even with cooler and SFX PSU, is too high.

Literally stopped the video after reading this comment.😂
@boatrat10 ай бұрын
I wouldn't pay money for the included PSU either. But that's only 'cause I don't like the particular one included, not because it isn't a fair price. Think about it: $150. is decidedly cheap for a high-quality SFX PSU in the over-750W power range. And $100. is more than reasonable for a non-standard form-factor liquid cooler. If you figure it like that, then you're only paying ~$150. for the bare case. That's a perfectly fair price for what this is, with the weird form-factor that has no commonality with any current or prior iterations of anything, and solid aluminum-plate panels.

Ion like it. Motherboard/chipset temps will be outrageous. Killed a 5800x in the ncase m1 with a radiator mounted behind the intake fans. Chipset temps were regularly at, or above 85c while gaming. Couldn’t even touch the back of the motherboard. Lesson learned. Intake fans now blow directly on the components, and i only use downdraft coolers in all my itx builds.
