The tomfoolery continues with $8 bread, $25 Creole Shrimp ( in New Orleans it is $10 and better), $23 per ounce for Wagyu beef 😮 , NY Strip $121 with no sides such fries ( and they charged you $8 dollars good grief 😢. I will say the Butter Cake looked fabulous. But seriously thank you for your public service work on behalf of the Common working folks preventing us from getting ripped off . If I wasn't making a video, maybe I would ask for a refire. But in the case of making a video, I'm not there to have the best meal of my life. I'm there to make the video. I'll be full regardless. I actually don't mind bad service even when I'm doing these. I'd rather the kitchen and staff focus on the patrons who are on their vacation trying to have a good time with their hard earned dollars. If I ask for a refire, that's attention I'm taking away from vacationers. I almost feel like I'm a nuisance to the restaurant in that regard. When I reheat my leftovers later, it's never as good anyways so that's why I don't send food back. Thanks for watching!

Wait, Emmitt Smith, the famous Dallas Cowboy's player?? He has his own upscale steakhouse?! That's kind of amazing :D First off, that A5 Wagyu looked INCREDIBLE. I still can't get over the marbling Wagyu has (and Kobe and the Korean equivalents) and it really is awesome that more and more American steakhouses are able to get A5 Wagyu imported from Japan these days. That Japan has finally let more be exported is terrific if you ask me, because once you taste a piece of perfectly cooked A5 there's never going back honestly. And while that American Wagyu looked great also, there's really no comparison obviously. The fact that 2 ounces cost $50 is crazy though :D I've started showing more and more of my friends your videos Shin, and they all ask me the same thing - "How rich is this guy and can I be friends with him?" lol and I still crack the joke that you are Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos using that Mission Impossible mask technology so money isn't a concern for you heh. I will say though, a couple of my friends have mentioned how they'd really like to see you go to NY or Chicago and eat at some of the big-time famous steakhouses in those cities. I wish you had criticized the bread to begin with while Most steakhouses offer a nice variety of onion rolls, sourdough , horns, pumpernickel free., this lousy four pull apart Parker rolls are EIGHT DOLLARS!! That’s insulting. The steak looked like it had a fat vein through it which is suicide. Soup looked good. Cake looked good but very small. I trust your judgement but sometimes it’s also about the value and feeling ripped off.

While I agree value is definitely a factor for those researching, in 10-20 years I'll look back on my videos and chuckle about how a steak dinner in Vegas used to be under $200 a person so I don't comment on price as much with that in mind

Great presentation of menu. You’re getting better all the time. Hope I can see you in Oct when I will be in Las Vegas.

Hi Shin...the Wagu looked amazing and the chicken looked yummy 😍 Charging for bread seems weird. The ambience looked so inviting, but I will not be adding Emmet's to my "Must Do" list. Thanks for taking us along! 💯👍

Some good food here but there are a lot of great steakhouses in Vegas and I wouldn't fault you for not putting this one on your must visit list. Thanks for watching!

I don't get the branding of this steakhouse...If I had to choose just based off of a name, I'd choose Shin's Steakhouse over Emmitt Smith's Steakhouse.

I am a little confused what type of restaurant this is with all the TV’s on. It kind of takes away from the food. I also don’t like the new trend of no tablecloths in higher end restaurants as the tables look like they should be in a diner. The food didn’t look that spectacular for what you got. The bread seemed disappointing as I love a signature bread from restaurants. The wagyu beef that you had to cook yourself looked amazing and I would also be a big fan of the butter cake too with all that yummy caramel. Thanks Shin.

Yeah, this kind of still strikes me as a standard steakhouse in Vegas nowadays. I do miss classic white tablecloth though. Thanks for watching!

What can I say about this place Shin but confusion on my part, I mean they are trying to hard the restaurant is just moving in all sorts of directions and it doesn't seem focused on being a traditional steak house. The food looks good but than again it's just to expensive and the portions seem mediocre, I may try this place someday but I'm not in a hurry to thanks for taking another one for the team we'll catch on the next one.

Very fair assessment Admiral. I wouldn't put this on the must try list, but if you do swing by, hopefully you have a good meal. Thanks for watching!

Bread should always be complimentary at a steak house. Especially that crappy bread they served you.
@VegaswithShin6 ай бұрын
Yeah, I'm not sure why they decided to go with that. I'm curious if that will change over time. Thanks for watching!

I love how you try so many different dishes in each video. How many people usually eat with you with all that food?
@VegaswithShin6 ай бұрын
Thank you. I try to make the videos thinking about as many dietary restrictions as possible like pescatarian and no red meat, etc so that anyone can get a good idea of what they can expect if they were to try out the restaurant. I don't do a great job for vegetarians though lol. If I'm by myself, I take home all the leftovers and eat them over the next couple of days. I've had friends and family come to many videos to get their fill also before I take home anything left over. Thanks for watching!

they out their mind serving that week looking bread at an expensive steakhouse, let alone charge for that. I seen texas roadhouse level steakhouses serve better bread than that
@VegaswithShin5 ай бұрын
Yeah, not sure why they decided to do that. I'm curious if that will still be the case later. Thanks for watching!
