That one doesn`t look like it disturbs the gravel enough, I know the one I got for Christmas didn`t even work as good as that one. I tossed it in the garbage.

Would you recommend this removing cyano bacteria from sand in a marine aquarium?

+k2swarrrm It is not the best way to remove cyano. It is better to remove it completely and prevent it from happening again. cyano is a type of bacteria algae. It can be easily remove with some antibiotic type cyano remover without harming any of the life stocks. But it will make the skimmer goes crazy. Cyano typically grow in low oxygen area. Therefore making sure that your tank is well circulated is crucial. Using a gravel cleaner from time to time to prevent cloak up would help prevent them to grow too. But once they grow, you'll need medication.

***** I've never have problem getting ride of cyano. You just need to get the right antibiotic. I don't think sucking them out daily will solve them
