I love the unique bunk designs on the smaller units - the ones that provide more open space to the bunk occupant. As a claustrophobic adult were it the only remaining option while traveling with a multi-generation small family, the open side would keep me from sleeping on the floor block everyone from the bathroom. Great innovative designs - thinking outside of box while staying inside traveling box!

Sold our GD 22MLE last spring. Loved it but sold thinking we would not be able to use it. Didn’t think we could love another. 12 volt frig is a no go for us. Recently bought a Coleman 1805 RB. 2021 used. It has everything the 22MLE had in a smaller space. Nice Jack knife sofa but will be replacing with theater seating. Walk around full queen bed,nice shower,fire place which is great. Much larger pass thru than we had plus slam lock doors which I love and water hook ups on out side where they should be. There is no dinette which my wife wanted but we do not cook. I like the Coleman being shorter as we travel with ours. Like you say you haft to give something to get something.

The MAV is the one I'd be looking at for sure. 1/2 ton towable toy hauler crossover with a power lift bed is a must. A bit taller would be helpful. Another must have is larger capacity tanks for off grid camping.

The MAV looks really cool! I would love to see one of these for TV/Sofa placement: 1) The one sofa slide in front of the TV. 2) Have some way of moving and placing some theater seats facing the kitchen TV. 3) You could even put the TV right over the sink and have cabinets where the TV mount is. You could put theater seating where the table is if you wanted it! I hate not having a seating option directly across from the tv although it looks like the TV is in an kind of ok spot. I would also prefer the drawers on the other side of the oven and the microwave on top and storage where the microwave is. Being 6'3 the transcend is too small for me but THIS! THIS I would buy this! If they adjusted the kitchen/TV setup a bit would put down a deposit today. Man I really love Grand Design! Great Video!

Hey Josh! I believe you have your 324MBS/31MB info a little off. It’s a regular Reflection but labeled as a “ultra-lite” mainly for the reasonable hitch weight. Mid bunks are a great layout like you mentioned. We absolutely love all the camp side windows. Non the less thanks for introducing the new GD Reflection mid bunk.

I really love your videos, Uncle Josh. So knowledgeable and thorough (the all-open and all-shut juxtaposition and the fluffy-friendliness inspections are so useful!), not to mention a truly *vast* library of rigs. Easily the best RV demo/review channel on youtube.... head and shoulders above the rest. I started watching your videos on 2x speed to save time, and now I can't stop. The dad jokes and laughter and reactions are fantastic when you're talking like a chipmunk. One thing I'd love to see in your videos going forward is perhaps a "what did they tweak in ". For example, it looks like JayCo raised their front bed platforms slightly in '23 which makes the pass thru storage high all the way thru (I spotted this in the Jay Feather and White Hawk 25-30ish foot trailers). Maybe a summary/bullet-list/etc of things that are subtly different when the model year increments for the various makes? Keep being you, these videos are amazing for RV shoppers.

The AIM series - I love the "re-imagined" kitchen option with a breakfast bar looking out the window. Really cool. The couches under the murphys look super comfy. 23LDE (yeah you know me) - LOVE that back kitchen with the two drawers and counter top across from the kitchen - A. storage!! B. counter top, prep space. C. Did I mention storage? And let me add D. I like that it is not a tall pantry because it looks and feels more open. Reflection 296 RDTS - THIS just may be my next and last RV. I love everything about this. The ONLY change would be the table option, I would want the free floater because I am too fluffy for most dinettes. But Oh my goodness a U-dinette, an amazing couch, decent sized kitchen, big fridge, VERY fluffy friendly bathroom and shower and the bedroom is roomy too. YES PLEASE. As always, great job Josh!!

I love the side patio on the Momentum 399th!! I want a 5th wheel, side patio, 2 bedrooms (1 on each end), not a toy hauler. The last one with the beautiful red, white, and blue paint job for full-time RVs would be perfect if it had a side patio and the toy hauler area was a nice rear bedroom with a full bath. I am going to full-time RV living in the next couple of months and I'm struggling to find what I need for my daughter and me. She is an adult with special needs so we need 2 separate living bedrooms. Currently, I'm planning to get a toy hauler and convert the toy area into a bedroom.

Epic run thru Uncle Josh. That first mid bunk caught my eye. If it's a flush floor I'd rip out the bunks and install a no compromises office workspace in that 6ft wide compartment.

Keep in mind "flush floor" in towables still isn't truly flush. It's not until you get into stuff like Newmar diesel pushers with custom slide systems you'll get things like that.

Loved how they put in the desk or new way of dining in there. We had a Jayco camper once where someone had taken out the dinette and put in a desk with cupboards on each side. That was exactly why we purchased that camper. It gave us eating options as well as plenty of room. I do think they need to put foldable chairs with pads under that desk/counter area, because those stools are very flimsy and they’re not comfortable. They also will not travel well.

We just bought the Imagine 23LDE. Haven't had a chance to take it yet. Had an Avenger 25RL and the storage was insane in that camper, so just hoping to figure it all out. I love you can still use this with the slide in if you have to. Fully functionable. It was the closest thing I could find that would make me want to leave my other camper.

Does the dinette become a bed? If not, that would be a good recommendation. Maybe the telescoping pedestal with a small corner leg for stabilization when a bed.

With more people working remote and the expansion of Starlink high-speed, global coverage internet, RV manufacturers should consider floor plans with office room/desks in mind (typically 4'x2' for monitors, keyboard/mouse...not tiny laptop-only spaces). Lance still seems to be the only manufacturer who does away with the typical bedroom dresser for dedicated desks. Master murphy beds (with a height-adjustable desk underneath instead of couch) is another space-saving idea. Also, few people need a bunk room with 4 beds. Office-friendly RVs are an untapped goldmine.

Great video as always Josh! You are the best in the business at what you do! These are some very nice units although with my tow vehicle, we are limited to a tow capacity of only 3,500. I know this is off topic but you are a great source of all things RV and I do have a request for many here who may fall into the same boat as us, newbies. I recently discovered that even if a 7 pin connector is used to attach to your RV, unless there is one already present in the tow vehicle, a brake controller needs to be installed. I saw that you covered this topic a few years ago but it would be great if you could provide an update on this topic for those like myself that are new at this. I am sure your plate is full with many upcoming projects but something like this would be very helpful. Please keep doing what you do!

A little add'l clarity: If the trailer has brakes, then you are required to have a brake controller on the vehicle. Any trailer over 2,500lbs empty is required to have brakes and many under that mark still also have brakes. Hope that helps for now!

Definitely need a full review of the Transcend 235BH. Your videos are spot on! You are so on top of things, the GDRV website doesn't even have some of the models listed yet, like the 25BHE. When can we expect to see models like the 235BH hit the lots for sale?

@@JoshtheRVNerd Will do. Might be planning end of October. If not we have a trip going from TX-TN-IA-TX coming up in November. I can let you know how it went. So far so good. We upgraded from a 2021 Forrest River Grey wolf Toy hauler (26MBRRBL), and its a huge improvement overall, especially in the the quality department. Would love to see that 25BHE in person. May consider a 2nd smaller one if its just right.
