​​​​@@CampsiteWarden don't put air source heating in it's awful we have it and definitely wouldn't reccomend, put gas or a stove in that heats the house, you should have a dishwasher in the kitchen because if you are on a water meter they are the best thing to have and there's a few of you so a dishwasher would be great. Problem is with air source heating they don't like cold weather, and you have to replace all the radiators, all the radiator pipes, somewhere for the big boilers to go and they are quite expensive to run over gas and oil been constant problems with the ones we have up here in Northumberland and there's not that many people that know how to properly install them etc

Wow your food looks good. Hope it tasted as nice. Even if something is perfect , you pay more, and still change so much in the new houses, so buying one a bit cheaper , gives you money to put towards your new changes, so best way to buy. I so so hope all is ok, really would need to be something bad for them to pull out at this stage, to much money to loose. New place looks very nice , be even nicer when you have it your way you have a nice lot of windows. Thank you for sharing with us, you . I wish you all a very happy time together. In your new home. You will find your electric garage doors are brill, when you come home you can press your garage door and just drive in and go through the kitchen inside door if you have one of course and your in. No getting wet. Take care Sandra be thinking of you, I am sure all will be fine, I can see your feeling very stressed. Not surprised a lot to be taking in board in more than one ways. Hope you feel a lot better when you get moved in.x

I moved to a bungalow 2 years ago with oil heating. The boiler is 30 years old. And it’s in my opinion cheaper to run than gas

Thats intresting to hear. There is no gas here, and we are thinking about a heat pump, but keeping options open.

@@CampsiteWarden my advice would be to give it a try before you decide anything. I had 500 litres of oil delivered before Christmas . I’m not a person that won’t use the heating if im cold I put it on. When the oil was delivered I ended up with 3/4 of a tank. I’m now in between 1/2 -1/4. The plumber I have that services my boiler told me it would take years to get back the money I would have spent on putting a more efficient boiler or heating system in. I noticed the boiler in your new house is the same make as mine only yours looks a lot newer. At present mine is running at 81 % efficiency. For a boiler that is 35 years old I don’t think that’s too bad
