The Vietnamese had dug a tunnel under it, lowered it straight down & replaced the ground then started the engine so it would be found. All in one night & working quietly so they weren't caught inside a military compound.

Their first hostage, an airman, they kept in perfect health for 5 years before making a hostage exchange. I believe that was where the Hannibal Directive originated, the Palestinians are good at keeping hostages (they're treated as guests except they can't leave).
