40mm bofors everywhere else: 14% accuracy. Hungarian bofors: 16% accuracy. If you feel like hungarian bofors are better, it's because they are.

Quick note that seems to go mostly unnoticed: Tartalék Árkászok only have 2 grenades per squad. Most dedicated Pioneer squads, even most in the recon tab have 3, and if I recall correctly some elite ones may even have 4. Wanted to point this out, because this does technically limit their power, as their bundle damaged is only 2/3's of that of a regular squad. So even if they survive after the 2nd, unless you bring up supply for them, (in a deck without the cheaper 20p supply cars) they will go back to a regular line infantry squad quicker than other equivalents.

Looks like a pretty solid deck, not many gimmicks but a good combination of decent infantry and cheap armor.

I'd noticed Eugen replaced the Boys paceholder weapon icon for a proper Soluthurn ATR icon but not noticed the FEG31M rifle has been changed on the infantry models, which was a G43 before. The icon is still of a G43. I've been moaning to Eugem about the models & icons for years. I hope this means all the placeholder graphics are finally being fixed, including the 31M Solothurn LMG icon, and all my whining has paid off :)

The Madsen icon is still a Bren & for some bizarre reason, the Bren on one of 6th Airborne's recon Universal carriers is a Japanese Type 99 light machinegun. Not sure how or why that model snuck in as there are plenty of Brens in game!

Nice balanced deck with some interesting units but nothing spectacular. The Air Play with this division is going to be a bit interesting though, only the Me 210 for a Phase A fighter so you're really reliant on Ground AA to deal with enemy fighters to protect your Hs 129, I can imagine that being quite difficult. Also good to see the Fw 189 again, really cool aircraft imo despite its limited use. I do also love the Hungarian Artillery Tractor even though its really terrible lol, just a funky vehicle to have as an option.

It has 95mm pen max range, vs 110mm armor gives you 28% pen chance

Arguable, shell penetration varied quite considerably, also irl armor is obviously not the same across the entire tank, a kwk42 or even 43 might hit some strong point like the turret or mantlet at an extreme angle and bounce, meanwhile a pak38 might find the lower plate and pen. So yes, your panther can bounce, while the pak38 might pen, depending on rng and range

Yeah that's the point, the 75mm pen scales up at closer range, the 95mm pen does not because it is HEAT, making the 75mm more effective at close ranges.

@@zinox9262 That's often not your own decision. Except you put them in a city or so. Even the AI is really good at finding long range shooting corridors.

Going with the sdkfz 7/1 instead of the 88 seems silly. Youve already got plenty of great mobile AA, but you're lacking 2km AT and 3km AAA.

Large caliber AA only kill heavier planes I found, including german 37mm and the 40mm bofors, you need faster firing cannons to kill the high agi fighter and lighter bombers.

SD2 dlc feels extremely low-effort. How many more permutations of the same or slightly reskinned units are they going to be able to charge money for?

They should have included late '45 units like the Pershing, Patton Tank and the JagdTiger. They could have added the Maus too, it wasn't fully operational but having it in the game would skyrocket DLC sales. Non-Russian Allies don't have Tanks to deal with the heaviest enemy tanks, a Pershing would have been a great addition to the game.

It's beyond me why they didn't add all WW2 units, even the Maus, DLC sales would go trough the roof. Jagd Tigers, Pershings, Pattons... SD2 is great but the is so much untapped potential by limiting to only '44 units.
