First look at the Blackview BV8900

It might just be me being stupid but I did not realise that there is a non thermal camera version of this phone out there still called the BV8900. It seems to be the same phone with a dummy camera (I'm guessing) in place of the thermal one and isn't a terrible phone but it's worth watching out for.

Hi, can the thermal camera be zoomed, and whats its pickup range like? I do a lot of nighttime wildlife photography, and it would be good to use this to identify distant hot spots of critters in trees at up to 100m range.

Its a solid state battery so I wonder How may charge cycles do you think this will be good for?

my phone didn't have myflir app installed as default, and I can't find a way to have that on my phone... it's useless... a phone with thermal camera characteristics that doesn't have the app installed as default...

@@ChrisMurray-iw9ij there are no solutions. Simply the BV8900 PRO doesn't have a thermal camera; the no PRO version has it. Sad but true.
