Featuring Filipe Toledo, Carissa Moore, Griffin Colapinto, Caroline Marks, Ethan Ewing, Molly Picklum, Joao Chianca, Caity Simmers and Jack Robinson.
This is what everything has been building towards all season. After 10 events, the World Title will be decided in a one-day, winner-take-all event. The top five men and top five women enter, and after 12 must-see heats, one male and female surfer will rise from Lower Trestles as this year’s World Champions.

Some of the best content the WSL's put out all year and it wasn't even during a comp. Really liked Griffs layback and Robbo sending it over punters in the lineup. Toledo is looking hard to beat. Waves will probably turn puss when the comp kicks off 😂

So good to see Ethan ripping, some of the talk about his injury was really scary. For me Felipe and Griffin are both looking solid. Carrisa is looking dynamic, Caroline is powerful and I love Caity’s style.

Don’t get it. How can the best surfer over the whole year lose the event and lose the title? Would be slightly better if they finished the season off at pipe as at least there would be some sort of mana to winning that comp but this venue suits one particular type and style of surfer. If Slater had a year like in 2008 where he won everything but surfed and lost in the final event that would be a crime…

he got a first (near perfect heat vs no.1) & three 3rds one of them at pipe. definitely needs ironing out, he's young, crazy though look at footage of him 4 years ago and you wouldn't even think he's a pro surfer. he's come so so far in such a short amount of time who knows what he can achieve.

WSL has made surfing BORING. Its unbelievable. Surfers used to compete at the crowning jewel for title with all their peers on the 7 mile miracle. THE PROVING GROUND. THE MECCA. Now it comes down to 5 guys surfing on a deserted beach outside a marine corps base in at best, head high surf with wetsuits. It's pathetic.

hey LIV golf are you listening? Please start a better surf tour. Pay these athletes! Make the tour interesting. Get rid of the surf ranch contest in Lemoore. Its BORING. I've even been there and watched it live and its boring. Go back to Bali, Mauritius, Oaxaca. Sure throw trestles in there if you have to along with Margaret River but PLEASE put the final contest back at PIPE.
