Been looking at this a bit… I have several products from the company over the years. I may have to grab this and make room for it lol.

Absolutely! And the sound bar is nice too. You can connect anything to it, of course, but this product is a solid buy. More videos on it soon! Thanks for the comment, good sir! 🙏😁

I love that it solves the issue with the last version, which is that it's enormous and 'what do I do with this thing now' aspect. Mine is collecting dust. A stand would fix that. They used to make a single player version that fit in your lap. To me that is the perfect solution for arcade gaming.

The fact that I can make it talk for standing or lower for children or sitting in a chair is great! It’s super quality and designed well. Thanks for the comment! 🙏😁

Great stuff. Maybe you can help. When I plugged in my MacBook Pro to the Arcade it doesn't recognize the Mac. I download OpenEmu and that works fine. How did you get the connection between the Mac and Arcade to work? I was having to use the Mac dongle for the usb-a to connect to the computer. Is that the issue? First time I plugged it in I immediately received a "Don't recognize this keyboard " window. Nothing after that. Please advise. Thx

Hello! Thank you for the kind words. I hope I can help you. Just some background on my setup: my MacBook Pro is an older model so I have USB-A ports built in still. I didn't do anything special to set it up to work with the Arcade2TV-XR. I just plugged it in and turned on OpenEmu, then for whatever virtual console I was running (Atari 2600, Genesis etc.) I opened up the OpenEmu controller preferences each time and made sure the settings for each console & player were inputted. NOTE: I do have an M1 Mac mini, but I have not hooked it up to the Xarcade. Now, since you have a newer Mac, I am assuming that the software is preventing the Xarcade from connecting. The way it works is that the Mac sees the unit as a keyboard, so, (1) make sure your cables are in all the way on the Xacarde unit. The first time I plugged in the USB electric cable, it would not come on and it is because I didn't have the USB-C end snuggly all the way into the USB-C socket on the Xarcade. I was like, "Why won't it come on?" Then after I put it in all the way, I felt silly. (2) plug the Xarcade unit into the Mac; (3) turn on your Mac; (4) If you get the "Don't recognize this keyboard prompt" I think I would attempt to follow any prompts it gives you like configuring the keyboard. That is vague, but worth a shot; (5) If that doesn't work or occur, open your Mac's System settings, go to "Keyboard", and in there near the bottom (depending on your OS) there will be a "Set Up Keyboard" button, and a "Change Keyboard Type" button. I am afraid that is as far as I can direct you help-wise. I am fairly adept at figuring out Mac stuff as I have had Macs since 1998. The PC laptop I show in the second video, is the only PC in my house and I rarely use it. If none of these things help, you may have to reach out to customer service at Xarcade. Please reach back out to me when you get things resolved as I would love to know how it went and what you had to do to get things going. Good luck and have a very nice weekend!
