I went with the Vegeta deck first but I somewhat regret it. Did watch know that they kind changed the blue play style. I like it as a way to keep the opponent off the board early on but I feel like it’s lacking if the game goes long. Luckily this beta is pretty generous Edit: watching this though I realize the main thing I’m missing is game knowledge to stop my opponent’s game plan. Looking forward to learning this game more

You made a good video a while back about expectations this game needed if it went the loot pack route. Did the beta give enough of an impression to possibly meet or even exceed those expectations or/and is there more to be disired , added and touched up on?

Have a question for the TCG players. Does the game get a bit more agro with the newer set releases? I love control/defense but right now it feels like nothing happens for the first 3-4 turns because of how huge impact the draw a card on getting hit is.

I went with the broly deck out of plain excitement, but then in my packs I pulled the ssj2 Gohan leader, thankfully he's a green. And by God swapping out broly for Gohan is insane.

except if you play the vanilla Broly deck as is with a Gohan leader you don't actually get to use like 12 of your cards because they are specifically for Broly BUT you can take them out and replace them easily.

The game really needs a total power at the bottom of the combo step. I've lost way too many times because I misjudged how much power I needed to combo to not take damage.

Battle cards need to be in rest to be attacked

I understand the upside of not always swinging just bc u can but at 28:35.. I'm curious what there was to gain from him not swinging with drieza leader to draw a card.. even if for argument sake let's say he didn't want u to take and go to 1 life and take some value from double strike, he could've swung at your battle character and not combo just for the draw.. potentially misplay but just curious if I'm missing something

Misplay, as you suggested. No benefit to keeping a Leader Active and even if they didn't want to give cards by attacking life, "wasting" the attack on the battle card would still give them a draw.

Thanks for the vids and info really new to this. For someone whos only going to play digital is it worth me getting the starter decks and booster box in real or should i jus spend the money on digital content? Thanks again cant wait for the release next month.

Id say get physical starters and boxes use the codes then sell the physical product

@@chahalele yeah that's a good shout thanks. Was going to get all the starter decks and a booster box was jus a bit confused after seeing you don't really need to in the video. Might be better getting 1 starter deck and 2 booster boxes. Do we know if there's god rares or anything good in the set. Like I said I'm really new to card collecting

What mook said is probably true unless the digital packs sell for super cheap. If it's only like $1 a pack online then it may be worth just buying digital. If the Digital Packs cost $3+ though you may as well buy physical and sell

@@mook7392 as far as rares go they list everything on the website. Rarity 140 types in total Leaders x8 Commons x52 Uncommons x36 Rares x30 Super Rares x12 Secret Rares x2 *There are 23 Alternative-art cards in this product It says 23 Alternate-Art, using One Piece as an example (same company) I would expect all Leaders, Super Rares, and Secret Rares to have an Alternate-Art, which makes for 22 and then one additional Alt Art Card that is the ultimate chase card, similar to a god-rare or manga-art from OP.

@@mook7392 theres 1 rarity that hasnt been revealed but im 99% sure its a god rare , because the goku secret rare has 2 alternate arts they just havnt shown them yet
