It's just linkage brother. Keep is properly serviced at the recommended intervals, like everything else on your rig, and you will be sorted. Can be cleaned with tequila.

@@natehills9388 indeed, some really clever work getting the bearings into the link and improving the various axles with collet axles, not to mention the UDH and threaded BB. Should reduce the maintenance required which means more riding!

Always lube that bottle bracket….before insertion. Sick bike, great vid, best bike build on the the tube. I tried a DHF on the rear on my slash (because I saw you run it!), but didn’t like it at all felt super draggy and I lost it multiple times In the corner if I even sneezed at the brakes! Back to the aggressor and Ass guy in front obvi is excellent I like the idea of running DD instead of inserts (which I’m doing now). Really appreciate hearing your thoughts on all the products as you build, super helpful to wanna be shreders like myself.

When I raced DH full time, I ran double DHF's for 8 years straight, haha. Ive literally burned through more than 100 in the last 20 years if riding bikes.

By far the best bike build YTD 👌🤙. I aspire to a 36t front chainring😂. Sidenote, pipe cutters are the easiest steerer tube and handlebars cutting mechanism I've found so far other than a sawzaw! No one else mentioned tire clearance, Bonus info

Sick build. My SB130 is getting to be a couple years old and while I’d love to upgrade to the 140….it’s been such a great bike I don’t think I’m ready to part ways with her yet! I’ve ridden her hard and put her up wet a bunch and she continues to deliver. 😂😂

I just put a 2.4 Mazza on my Ripmo rear. I feel like it's a good compromise in terms of weight and traction. I will see how they hold up, but so far I'm impressed. But I'm with you on Maxxis tires - I don't care about the weight either and get traction for days and great durability!

Assuming your bottom bracket shell width is 73mm your BB requires the 4.5mm spacer for boost.

I am a fan of the Dissector. Ran one out back in a DH casing in the Whistler Bike Park a couple if years ago and was impressed. Great fast rolling tire for hardback with solid cornering knobs. Big fan.

Glad to hear that friend. Honestly, the geo is essentially the same. If you want a more refined ride, get the new 140. I would guess your dollar would go farther with some bling wheels though.

Nate, I am a fairly aggressive rider, albeit not quite where you are, from the Grand Junction area. I ride a lot and put in good miles. Since you are familiar with the terrain here, would you personally ride an SB120 or SB140 here as a primary bike? I am looking for GJ/Fruita area only assuming I have a separate bigger bike for park days.

You could honestly go either way, I guess it depends on your riding style. There is enough chunk to warrant a 140 but everything is relatively flat so 120 would also feel nice. I would choose 140 personally but that's just me. I haven't ridden 120 yet.

everything is fine except the brakes, bills of exchange suck (here from me when they buy a new bike with Rock Shox brakes they replace them immediately even before picking up the bike from the shopkeeper)
