In my opinion, both guards gives unacceptable flares, at least for my quality demands. Thx for the test!

Nice to have a comparison. Seems like both guards causes flares.. That's a shame. My question is - did you use the right stitching settings when you exported the file? That makes an impact to the end result.

Your sticky guards are probably not aligned correct, mine has less visible stching line. However it's good to mention that sticky guards are made of plastic and they get scratches even only by watching them ;]. Insta360 should make better, premium sticky guards that are made of glass.

Yeah, some premium stick ons would be great

What is your conclusion then? When you make such a review, it would be nice to rate. As it is hard for us out there, with no raw material to really judge on the quality...

The fact that none of them have an anti-reflective coating is quite disappointing. Even the cheap UV filters have coatings on it.

Sticky Guards (plastic) £20 a pair. Premium guard £32... Premium guard is OK underwater (to 10m). Sticky guard leaked when I tried it...

That's because you're not supposed to use the sticky guards underwater
