That was a lovely review. Thank you for that. Did love the beautiful diamond painting. I’m very curious for the new kit upgrade. I think the tray will be awesome and the pen looks very handy. I will see it in August. Then I go for holiday to Holland and will get my diamond paintings. Have standing there 8 from DAC. And definitely one will be in the new package! 😊

love the new kit. love the pen and tray. I'm using both all the time now, I'm happy with the boxing and how they are improving. beautiful image. I do love confetti vs. color blocking. hugs Billie

That was a very detailed comparison and I appreciate it. I’m looking forward to using the pen. I totally agree about the tweezers and the cover reminders. I have favorite cover reminders that I use consistently. The rest of them are hanging on ribbons in the back of my closet and used, it was fun to collect but not necessary for me. Personally, I have a couple friends that have come to my house and dabbled with diamond painting and I give them my extra tweezers, wax and cover minders.

When I saw the comparison title I thought you'd be doing a comparison with the diymoonshop version. Do you have it? That would be interesting to see the difference. I ordered the DAC version and was excited to see the new tool kit. Definitely agree that the packaging is too much. Looking forward to seeing the improvements and changes they make. Love that they listen to customers and continue to improve an already amazing product

I totally agree with you on confetti my first square I actually haven’t finished because even though it’s not so so much confetti there’s still a lot over the painting compared to colour blocking and it got to the point where it was hurting my eyes and I needed a break, it’s penny the pretty poodle and for a first square painting I think I chose wrong since I was going to do it for a teacher, but purely for the Greek mythology and for Persephone and hades I’m gonna have to get this painting it is so beautiful and I loving the new kit so much. Also bc of you I went and bought myself a diamond pen pal pen and I’m so excited to get it

I just received this one and the new box is very nice, it's just too big. As a high volume collector these boxes will add to my storage woes. It also has to be adding to shipping costs, which will get passed on to consumers eventually.

The new box looks absolutely beautiful and I loved working with the new tray, but I would honestly trade any of the improvements in the new kits to keep the coverminder and washi in every kit 🥲 It may sound really silly, but those just made me so happy and eager to unbox and start new kits. Not only did my crow brain love the collectible aspect of surprise beautiful items in each kit, but with exchange rates, international shipping and import taxes and duties, it's just not worth it buying these types of items on their own 🫤
